Sikh’s are voting for far right candidates because Akali Dal failed to represent them adequately. They were never able to get anything from BJP govt even though they shared power with them for so many years. Their partnership with BJP helped BJP to settle in Punjab and Sikh’s see this a threat to their only majority statehood. Sikh’s are generous and kind but others need to follow suit and try not to take advantage. There is huge vacuum in Punjab and after AAP failure lot of Sikh’s are ready to vote for far right candidates.
