I can literally feel Kareena's emotions in this song. My story has been pretty much the same. The person whom I loved had kicked me out of life just like Anshuman. I was so anxious and devasted. But then my Aditya came into my love with trucks full of love and kindness! Never lose hope. There's always an Anshuman before Aditya. You might or might not meet him immediately but you'll definitely meet him someday!

In 2008, i think around 7 months after its release, i found the real meaning of this song. That was the time when my cbse board results were out n i had scored less than what i had expected n deserved... my parents were ok with it but i wasn't. I felt so depressed that i locked myself in my room n cried my eyes out. It was raining so heavily outside. I played this song. That's when i realized the actual meaning n essence of it. I know, the situation depicted in the song is far different from mine, but grief is grief ryt? I'm a doctor now. Whenever i listen to this song that incident jus comes into ma mind.

kareena is the best actress ever. just look at the scene where she happily greets him and within seconds you already know what he is saying to her because it is clearly shown via her facial expressions. you dont even need to hear the dialogue. amazing acting!

Still, remember the day when I watched this movie with my mom, we had to kill time, and Kareena was not anyone's favorite then, and it was the first day of the release, Theatre was almost empty, NEVER did we know this movie will be so nice, especially this song which was the turning point. Lol not anyone's favorite 🤣🤣 Kareena kapoor was a star even before Jab we met. I agree after this movie, she became everyone's favorite and still is. No one might've expected this movie to be blockbuster.

Ya Allah Ustad Rashid Khan sahab ko jannat me aala se aala maqam Ata farimaiye aur unke gunaho ki baqsish kariye.. This song is a sleeping tablet for me earlier but from now onwards whenever I would play this song I will pray for Ustad sahab soul first

Imtiaz said in an interview that he didn't believe in this movie and that it would be a blockbuster was totally unimaginable. Because more than the script, it was Shahid's and Kareena's acting and their chemistry which won our hearts. It was so believable that your heart just goes out for the character. Jab We Met definitely belongs to these two. This movie makes you want to believe in a fairy tale love story no matter what. :')
