Don't know the politics in Australia, but a lot of his jokes make sense in America. Love this guy's style.

Art Vasch Then Aamer should stay out of white countries. Go to brown countries only. He won't experience "oppression" there, the fucking baby.

I'm not muslim so yes I would have an issue with eating food that is halal if I'm not aware of it. Thats a fair point. There are many situations where white people do embarrass themselves but that isn't one of them and I say this as black christian.

+Imogen Arie but do you even know what it means for meat to be halal? it just means that the animal is slaughtered in a swift way so it doesn't feel pain, that it has no diseases or festering wounds on it, that the animal is in good living condition while it's alive and that animals can't be slaughtered in front of each other so they don't feel scared. why would that bother you? I genuinely urge you to know more about other people's culture or about what things actually mean because the media preys on this lack of knowledge for other people's cultures, traditions and religions to spread hate and animosity. I am a muslim and I have no problem eating Kosher food (food that is religiously acceptable for jewish people) and that's because i am aware of what it entails. Because i know what it means for meat to be halal (if the requirements are truly carried out) i know that when people are like OMGGG ITS HALAL AHHH I CAN'T EAT IT!! i know they have no idea what halal means. unless you like your animals to be tortured and diseased and basically road kill before you eat them

+Imogen Arie all edible food on earth is halal besides what god have forbidden, (land animals who were not slaughtered properly or dead ), this means it include vegetables and fruits , so if you don't want to eat halal you'll die out of starvation.

He's not funny. He genuinely doesn't do his shtick well. The sentiments nice and has been done well by other's, it just seems a bit murky with this guy. Unless I've missed the satire, it seems his intention is genuinely to point out that "White People" have a poor history in regards to cultural acceptance. But if that's as far as he can go regarding the "race issue" then it's a shame. Especially when the co-editor of a "culture" magazine sits there meekly propagating his short sighted ideals. The only thing this guy pointed out in his material that had any real potential was the imposition of an idealized white version of human beauty upon mainstream spheres of influence. Even then he didn't turn it into anything resembling well structured comedy. Comedians such as Pryor and Hicks were awesome in that they took Racism and revealed it for the cartoonish parody of being it truly is. They in effect were able to conquer and disarm it, this guy just comes off as a victim. I came away from his routines depressed more so than entertained and enlightened. And if that was his intention than well, he's simply not good at his job or he's using comedy as an agency of something I'd rather not presume upon.

Check him out further dude you are missing out hard. You are definitely missing some satire or something. There is nothing murky about him to me. Its not 'white people' but white cultures and simple cause and effect. He is not prejudiced or a victim at all and i have never felt that watching any of his material. He absolutely conquers and disarms racism, exposing and providing levity in ways that Hicks and Pryor never dared. As a white Australian i find it slightly alarming that you condemn him as 'playing victim' because that is exactly the language that white supremacists would use to dismiss him and his messages. As you are evidently and obviously a mixed race person who isn't hung up on skin colour bullish it saddens me that you readily condemn him so harshly. Fine if you don't find him humorous but do not draw conclusions from a single interview about his sentiment intent ideals and open mindedness, don't conclude that he has a victim complex or any of this other stuff you presume upon because it is all wildly unwittingly prejudiced from you. You are completely wrong i don't care anymore how unintelligently written this reply of mine is. I am tired and you are completely off the mark in 10 ways and i don't care enough to spend another minute thinking how you came to your conclusions. TLDR watch his material, book by its cover, projecting others ideals and mentalities onto him, comparing his humour and modern day dissection of AUSTRALIAN racism to Hicks/Pryor on American racism and thinking Aamer comes of as a victim and feeling depressed from his schtick says more about you than anything.

Ni Clouds Dude, as "a white Australian", watch how quickly you elect a "racist" to power when your government imports a few million more assholes like Aamer Rahman. You enjoy your nice comfortable white society now, but give it time - as more Bengalis move to Australia and turn it into the festering, filthy shithole from hence they came, you will be BEGGING for more racism from your political class. Until that day, enjoy your nice white country. For now.

+Marley Webster Your long-winded diatribe is nice and all, although you are horribly misinformed to say the least. Aamer Rahman has consistently exposed the farce that is racism, or even reverse racism for that matter. If you came away depressed, it's probably because the reality of what he said was too much for you to handle. Either that, or you just don't have a sense of humour and are a depressed person in general.
