Calm, elegant, powerful, and intense. Wish she sung ballads like this more often. I like her normal style but she is a really good singer when she sings ballads.
Her music has lifted me out of some dark places. Rip baby-girl

It’s so different listening to this song as an adult. It’s so relatable in so many ways.
AALIYAH'S VOICE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!
I cherish every Aaliyah song.....#RIPBABYGURL
I've had this song stuck in my head for twenty five years and now I finally found it!
I used to like the movie version but as I got older I started loving this version more. Brings back memories. I watched this with my dad when he got it for me when I was 8 years old. I feel like that was forever ago.

Colleen Marsh I also love this version as well, considering it sounded like Aaliyah was telling her personal story
To this day, for me, Aaliyah is the most beautiful and vocally gifted woman in the world
Definitely one of my favorite ballads from an animated movie.

I'll always love the original Baby Girl of RNB.
Beautiful song I love it but towards the end of the song when she says "heyy yeah" it kind of reminds me of human nature when mj says ohhh why oh why

Classic tune from the legendary Aaliyah! One of the things I loved about this woman's artistry, is the fact that she'll take something and make it her own Rip sweetheart! Left us way too soon!
Still listening in 2021 ❤️ She’s so missed!😭
When my eldest daughter was 5 I drove her to school most days. On the way she would sing this song in a perfect American accent. Whenever I hear this song it takes me straight back.
QUEEN Aaliyah my role model👏💓

aaliyahcomeback how is a song about an orphan finding her family and finding her past perfect for a graduation?
@KitsuneLover101

Christy Adkins because in the scene this plays in is about her finding herself as she leaves her home, so in the context of a graduation this song means finding yourself as you move from one part of your life to the next.

The way Aaliyah is standing/ posing looking as shes saying towards herself " I'm awesome", indeed she was/ is. Thanks to the songwriters for having her to sing it.😌
