Been watching her as an indian idol judge for months now but never heard her sing.Playing a song of hers for the first time. Goose bumps.

The level of maturity in your voice unbelievable

As a Pakistani I was grown up listening to this ghazal from the original singers Habib Wali(male) and Fareeda Khanum Gee( Female) voices . Sonu Kakkar has the best version I have ever listen after Fareeda Gee.

I'm speechless, one can sing that best?!!! Even the great Fareeda Khanum would give it ten out of ten. This is something extra-ordinary sudden creation of history by Sonu.

Unbelievable! In addition to an incredible command over her voice this lady's Urdu pronunciation is impeccable.

Sonu Kakkar is a very underrated and under appreciated singer . Her range & versatility of singing is amazing! She is totally deserving to be on that seat better than anyone! . And she deserves to have more songs in Bollywood as her voice has much more depth and feel ...

I don't understand how come she didn't get the kind of success she deserved. She has a very distinct tone than the rest of singers in bollywood, super talented and trained.

👍💯💯 correct. As a Pakistani, I can confirm that. She has properly learned Urdu pronunciation from some senior Urdu language teacher/ ustaad.. Singing WAQT, she made it hoarse/heavy and from down throat or halq as we call it in Urdu/Hindi. That's proper delivery way. Saying Zindagi, she whisteled z, 👍💯 proper way for rhyming z. Her words delivery is to perfection. She is no joke or a naive singer as others present there but as mentioned, has hard learned and perfected everything

Fan of this ghazal...never knew she is such a good singer. I guess she never wanted to be in the lime light.

This ghazal has also a male version, old from Pakistani singer Habib Wali Mohammad, anyone listen to that, she is also inspired from that, you will know when she sings 'jaaane ki' , you will know this tone comes from that version. By far, Sonu has surpassed everyone, if not Fareeda, she is 2nd.

I have heard this song many times sung by different singers And some of them sang beautifully also But the style of singing of Sone Kakkar I find is the most impressive and soulful singing and is the very best. Hats off to this singer God bless her with all the best

From Farida Khanum to Sonu Kakkar, this song travelled through generation, but it's soulful sweetness, flawless incredible class was well preserved by Sonu or even presented in a more delicate manner
