I have flown the A380 at least 6 times. Heathrow - O R Tambo South Africa and between Dubai - South Africa. This plane is so cool at take off and landing, it feels like you are gliding slowly up or down a smooth slope. Comfort at its best. In Mid air, minimal turbulence. the smaller ones, usually a bumpy road on same routes and others.

WoW!! I heard all that gusty wind yet that plane came in like 'smooth sailing' !! Very impressive to see, that's for sure!! Great vantage point, and I hope you stayed warm (and dry) shooting this!!! Thanks so much and they are much appreciated. :)

As the plane comes in, you can see clouds forming on top of its wings from the low pressure when they're generating lift

As the reverse thrust only operates on the inboards does this mean the engines are not completely interchangeable? Make inventory that much harder.

It was originally planned not to mount thrust reversers at all being the tyres brake sufficient, but it was later decided to install them on two engines due to FAA requirements.

+Jones Pranita You would be amazed at actually how instinctively easy it is to land an aircraft if all is well.

that is because the outer engines are not above the runway and you get to much chance of engine damage. thanks for watching
