A3, the oldest existing Aston Martin in the world is having a bit of work done on the rear axle. The axle was stripped down and several issues were discovered. This short video shows one of the half shafts is bent and hard against the casing.
The gears themselves were in good order so a bit of modern manufacturing from the original drawings is in order for some of the other rings, carriers and half shafts.
