Don't say poor. If are in UK that's not mean you are rich.. they are getting very hi salary.. in India we pay 800-1000rs/day for mason and 500-600rs for labour (8:30Am -12:30PM and 1:30PM-4:50PM.. for 7 hours.. and don't compare UK with other countries
