Likely just means it used to summon 4 pirates until they realized that 0 mana 20/20 is fucking stupid.

Divine brew is such a great design. Fits a lot of different strategies and seems super balanced while using mechanics we rarely see (divine shield on heroes, temp buffs on minions etc)

Thank you for the stream Zeddy! Glad for the card reveals, it keeps giving me hope for the game. Digging that sunscreen aura, it synergizes with the discount guy and the 10 cost spell!

Keep in mind that on the new set there is a 3 mana 3/4 neutral that makes cards from other classes cost 1 less so you actually can make all those 1 mana buffs cost 0 in mage. Is tempo mage back?

Yeah I was thinking way more about mage abusing all the buffs that are 1 mana and the guy who reduces spell costs. It seems like a lot of easy mana cheat and amalgam being an infinite threat that can be given spell damage might be a problem too.

These cards could also break quest mage with mage and paladin 1 Mana drinks, 0-cost board for quest turn, aura to generate more cheap spells, tempo quest mage maybe, just like agrro zarimi shadow priest.

With handbuff Service ace have to gain attack also.

When assessing Lifesaving aura, you forgot to acknowledge that it was end of your turn, making it significantly worse

This is gonna make the rogue reveals potential juicy since that class loves to target things.

Service Ace reminds you of a random card instead of the mirror?

Question is if service ace buffing in hand gets mana cheat. If so… may be scary but on board only would limit it comparatively.

Divine Brew works well with Jitterbug for some card draw while trading (You also have Funkfin for more synergy)

I have a deck with those 2 and the card still looks trash.

Does Service Ace have effect to Reno?? if it does make Reno cheaper and could be abusable, not nesessary strong but anyway. i have a feeling that Flood Pala might be even more stronger than it is ATM. Life saving aura might change things.

Sea shanty can be the part of quest mage. Spam the board and give it a turn to get ready.

Lifesaving aura makes no sense as it should be a lifesaver as that’s what’s being thrown to her.

Some thoughts: Divine Brew is Holy. For Mage, this means you can cross that spell school off the list for Sif for 1 mana. For Paladin, this makes Holy Glowsticks cost 1 mana. Additionally, all 3 uses are targetted, meaning that altogether the spell reduces Sea Shanty’s cost by 3, allowing it to come out a lot faster. The Sunscreens from Lifesaving Aura also help with this. Lifesaving Aura, its Sunscreens, and Holy Brew are all 1 mana, meaning Concierge in Mage can make them all free. With a highroll, Mage can potentially get Sea Shanty out as early as turn 4, and it’s reasonable for it to drop the shanty down on turns 5 or 6 regularly. Is that good enough, though? That remains to be seen.

Actually the optimal highroll sequence (I think) would be as follows: Turn 1: Lifesaving Aura Turn 2: Flame Geyser x2 Turn 3: Concierge + All 6 uses of Holy Brew + Sunscreen x2 + Sea Shanty x2, resulting in 35/37 on board turn 3 Now before anyone gets up in arms about this, you literally have to draw perfectly to get this. This is a 7 card combo on turn 3, meaning it’s only possible if you draw perfectly and are going second.

I think the Service Ace works in hand too, like handbuff proc the effect.

no. You need the card to be on field to do that. It's supposed to be used with cheap buff spells.

So, since paladin can have divine shield, divine brew can be cast on the hero since it reads “character”?

Don’t forget auras can stack so you can get a lot of buffs going early on.

Divine brew can also target your own hero. It's really good against giant rogue and warlocks

I mean if it's that important... Run Starlight Groove and your hero gets Divine Shield when you cast the brew on ANY target...

Does Service Ace trigger if it is in your hand? I think no.....

Yes. Playing Brew will cause Groove to give your hero Divine Shield. Also, based on the wording, if you target your hero with the Brew, Groove should activate first so the Brew will give you +1 attack.

With all the options for raising a minions attack in Paladin, this is technically a 0-2 mana 3/3 on a good turn, not amazing still but could see play

Well at last that card will help the tendris

wonder if Service Ace works with hand buffs, but probably not.

In general, text on minions only functions when they're in play unless it specifies that it works when in hand.

The bot is bad because it has nothing but manacheat. It solves the Gigantify problem, but does nothing in exchange. This is a time of easy removal. Sure, against decks like Pally it's better, because Pally has very little field clears and prefers swarm or buff, but any deck from DK to Priest will either take it from you, ignore it or remove it. A do nothing card for a turn is pretty bad.

@@gankfrombush it means that the Flickering Lighbot is bad because it's just manacheat. You can remove it quite easy. It's not a good card. You do nothing the turn you summon it, then you hope to go face. Any deck can remove it, take it or just ignore it. How is that hard to understand?

You can also do some positioning shenans with cheap Rush minions and Dire Wolf Alpha so the Ace keeps getting buffed by the wolf every time you trade a cheap rusher.

Maybe they are doing what the Festival spell did. You also want cheap ways to buff. Buffing heroes i's one way.

It specifying "Character" means it can target heroes. Divine Shield on hero was introduced in Festival of Legends with Paladin's Legendary spell (Which might actually see play now that there's more Holy spells to use with it)

Gotta say, I am SO GLAD they didn't push handbuff anymore in this expansion. Pushing handbuff effects as an arvhetype has been so boring and unfun. It's fine when there's one card that is individually good that gives your hand +1/+1, but I hope they never again try to push it as an archetype, It's been such a bad idea.

Based on this cards? The 10 mana one that is good in librams? The wild deck? Your best bet is to use that aura and buff something like the new minion card. All that to summon 5/5 pirates. On what turn do you think those 5/5 are online? It needs a few more cards to quickly buff something on field, otherwise you ain't discounting that anywhere near a quick turn.
