I see alot of myself in this kid. I had sooo many people on my side and people telling me that I could do anything because of how smart I am. But the only thing is that I never made the right choice. Even knowing that I was going the wrong way I was just so hard-headed and I'm paying the price in a big way. But I still have to say thanks to all who took the time to encourage me!!!!

This is embarrassing. That kid shouldn't have had to go through that. All the cameras and people and everything. And you know the kids there were probably gonna give him stress over it Public speaking probably shouldn't be forced on kids in school or anywhere else Probably should just be for college students that are planning to go into a field that actually requires it.

@@whn2058 should little kids be worried about conquering fears? Or just being kids? If it's some kind of crippling fear or phobia or something that's harmful to their health and/or development maybe I guess it should be conquered. Public speaking isn't a necessity in life unless you're going for a job requiring that. Only then should you be worried about conquering the fear of it. And career goals aren't something a child is worried about or has to worry about so there's no need for this or point of it.
