Love the sweater you designed (41:15). I would love to buy the pattern! I really like the puffy sleeves! Perhaps you could offer both options, a puffy sleeve and straight sleeve, once you publish the design. I also purchased Diaphanous, and I plan to make the long sleeve version because I feel the mohair/wool combination for the body will make it too warm for a short sleeve summer top. I also find that other necklines flatter me more than a v neck, and I am trying to see if I can modify the pattern to make a scoop or boat neck. I don't know what it is, but v necks are just not my style. I love squared necklines!

I so would love to work on releasing these one of a kind items, still being so new in my journey and still finding information on grading to be quite limited, I'm still hanging in there that one day I could. I would offer a few sleeve options for sure! Even without as just a strappy top it's lovely. I too struggle with V necks, I'm not sure why but it just doesn't feel right and that's totally okay 💚

Hey and welcome! Thank you so much! I've found the merino has been quite good for holding it's shape (much better than cotton) but I've been hoping to step away from superwash and haven't experienced too many other options, I imagine Mondim being quite a good option, good quality, soft and affordable...and a really big colour selection! @@kattweaver That would be nice. I loved all your tops, but especially the very summery ones with no sleeves. I'm 5'2" and a little thing myself, I rarely wear a bra and love how your tops give enough coverage and security, that things arent popping out or thru. Question...can wool really be cool in the summer? I live in the hottest most humid part of the U.S. and just cant find a decent yarn, acrylic is hot no matter how fine, cotton weighs a ton, and I never thought of wool in the summer. I loved all your tank/ crop tops but can never find a pattern for anything even close to what you've made...your work is lovely, and I hope you write up patterns one day.

Thank you so much for sharing I'll have a little look, since this video I have knitted a few more including Jessie Mae's framework bralette (Which I'm wearing as I type!) I think I'll do an updated video this summer 😊 I also have been loving seeing the test knits for Sari Nordlund's new summer top!

Your designs are beautiful and you're really good but man do I hate knitting. I prefer crotchet. Knitting just gives toddler tantrums lol

hi kat, this was a really enjoyable podcast to watch! the pacing of it was perfect (not too fast) and all the tops were so fun to see how they look on you as well as hearing about how they were knitted! I think your own designs are great, Melissa is looking for designers for her Shorn yarn see her podcast kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKWsmNKJdLncYpc.html if you are interested!
