I've watched one or two other movies similar to this and they certainly didn't make the mark for me ooo. This is a gritty movie in the sense of it not being about majik but about spirituality. Mz. Johnson fills this role wonderfully as she goes about the village living in her life's purpose as intended. I fully enjoy she understands regardless of the verbal backlash she receives, her gift of sight stands at the forefront of her daily life with her intention to meet it at every turn. Eeeeeh, what this movie displays is the individuality of each person and what their purpose is if they are paying attention how powerful they become in their own right. She is further supported by those with an open mind and others who live the same way. Earthy in its making, this film held onto some goodness with keeping style, hair, and living very natural yet it couldn't have been anything else to get the point across ooo. I appreciate seeing this. The music transitioning was very smooth and right on point with a few moments of it being louder than the characters speaking yet it was bearable. I'm grateful to see this is parts 1 & 2 and with other sequels which are numbered as well. Because of the nature of the movie, it not only has my attention, I'm drawn to watch Mz. Johnson continue to beautifully fill her role to see what more she does ooo. I recommend this movie to the younger generation who have walked away from the very customs and traditions of home which have supported their households through the elders. I recommend this movie to the elders who have given up on themselves and the younger generation asking for those who will watch, may something great be sparked in each to remember what has allowed the African to survive through incredible times. Great work and thank you.
