I’ve never held a Raccoon but it seems like it would be competing with the Ekko and that is tough to beat. The sprinkles were a fun novelty but they feel a bit long in the tooth for me. Thanks for the video JB

I like that new blade shape. I would consider it a sheepsfoot, but it doesn't matter. I'm not a huge fan of the sprinkle designs. I think they're cool, just my style I guess. Pretty cool lineup though my friend.

The mystique of finding a raccoon to buy has maybe left the building with Vostteed coming out with so many variations. Sometimes not being able to get a knife makes it more desirable to own. I have a couple and like both. Thanks for look at couple different offerings.

Theres only been a few vosteed knives that have caught my eye and that white g10 version looks pretty cool. When the cdc first came around i thought the center for disease control was makeing knives which would have been cool but im glad it turned out being a group of dudes that like donut knives great video man 👍

I bought the sprinkled version just to help the boys out. Those sprinkles make for a good grip. The action is silky, and the blade came razor sharp. I do wish it had the new blade.

SInce trading a Vosteed Valk for a Raccoon (crossbar lock, blue frag micarta) I really dig it. My sample hasn't centered up despite my best efforts which is a bit of a bummer but everything else about the how the knife works, the blade, ergos are perfectly fine. The not-a-sheepsfoot blade is tempting but... I think I can rely on the Tempest Microburst to fill that particular role (slight belly, somewhat blunted but still effective tip for utility cuts).

My guess would be yes but I never had an issues with any of the earlier models. It's funny how knives don't fail when you use them as intended. Yes...I did spine whack them and they didn't fail.

1st cross bar lock knife, came a little tight and some surface scratches. But for the money I'm happy. Still prefer a button lock knife for work. Also wish I would have got the cleaver blade design. Guess I'm getting another Racoon soon.
