Written by Gary Brooker, Keith Reid, and organist Matthew Fisher, the Bach-inspired "A Whiter Shade of Pale" was named joint winner (along with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody") of the Best British Pop Single 1952-1977 at the Brit Awards and inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Now, Peter Vamos adds his interpretive piano version to the mix. It takes courage to tackle a rock classic but we believe this version just add to the retinue and give “Whiter Shade of Pale” fans another reason to like the song and confirms that it deserves all the props lauded upon it. This song played by Peter could carry me off to heaven just incredible the talent this man has just blows my mind fantastic
I love that he's not doing insanely difficult techniques (for the sake of it like some pianists do) he's doing what sounds beautiful! And his subtle variations on the melody with chording is elite and sweet sounding!
