The empty shop that had the name Simpsons on the front tiles used to be a butchers shop when I was growing up Simon. I am a Whitby lass born and bred...living in Scotland...I love how you love my hometown. Enjoy watching all your video's..keep them going.

Thank you for all your vlogs my husband and I really enjoy them and for the laughs. Upon your recommendation we called at Thompsons fish&chips on the A64 and as you stated their fish and chips are indeed delicious. Regards Jayne & Alan

Just been in Brogues Gallery on Mrs M's recommendation, looking for some boots "like wellies but a bit smarter, that I can wear with a nice coat", you know? I think I'll definitely get me next pair of wellies from them, but I eventually found some nice Barbours in The Whitby Cobbler, top end of Baxtergate, with £50 off in the sale! Lovely shop that, too.

Great video brings back past times spent here would love to come and visit again but the legs are not up for it now your video makes up for that. Thanks

That closed shop down Church Street I believe was a butchers shop. Looked a grand day to be out in Whitby, you are extremely lucky Simon.

We went in Mont Martre just over a year ago. Friendly staff but as you'll know it's a tiny place inside..Decent value and something a bit different being French Themed. Well worth a visit👍👍

Have you done a review of the upstairs cafe/ bar across from the co- op yet, I think it's called Macy Brown's. We called in for just coffee and toast last year before setting off home and I thought it was quite a nice place.
