Wow! Wow! Wow! As a Bajan who has been living in another country for the last 18 years, I want to say thank you for that review as it brought me back home and reminded me of what I left behind. Sometimes it takes an "outsider" to tell your story.. I risk to say outsider as you are an honorary Bajan now! 😂 Enjoy your time in Madeira!

As a Bajan living abroad, this video had me grinning from ear to ear. I love that you fully immersed yourself in the Barbadian culture, and took the time to research, to explore, and to interact with the locals. I think that you arrived in Barbados at a particularly challenging time, and perhaps that gave you an extra appreciation for the strength of our nation and the pride and resilience of the people. Kudos as well for the meticulous way you compiled this video -- even down to the music choice and that bit about the bus crawl (if you know you know XD). Definitely looking forward to your future videos, and I hope you'll come back to Bim some time to check off the other items on your list and to learn a few more Bajanisms! You are defs an honourary Bajan now.

Just came back to Canada from BB after a week there. The people were wonderful. Very friendly and hospitable. Also liked the taxis, buses and Agricultural fair in Queen's Park, Bridgetown. Went to a church on Sun. Where things could improve are the roads and more sidewalls.

I am a Bajan who left the island in 1961 and returned for short periods in 1964,1989,2001, and 2016 and on each occasion, I learned more about Barbados. In this excellent, and for me evocative travelogue some of the best aspects of my island Republic were highlighted, especially being lulled to sleep every night by whistling frogs, Andromeda Gardens, Hunte's Gardens, Barbados National Park, the open helpful friendliness of my fellow countrymen and women, and not least Bajan sweet food,,fish cakes ,flying fish cutters and hot sauce. Bring it on dude! Bon voyage.

It was an excellent perspective of some of the things we take for granted and as a Bajan, this video confirmed that for me, there is and will never be no place like home ❤❤ Thanks for putting this together and good luck in Madeira. We'll miss you but know you'll make it back here soon.

Hi I don't mean to be to nosy.. but do you mind telling me what kind of remote job you do? I´m currently trying to figure out a good field to study to find remote jobs. Thanks.
