I spent this past weekend fishing a stretch of the DPR near my home using only lures. Although I had a series of misfortunes while I was there, I was able to catch a nice variety of fish, including a big bullhead on a lure, taking me by surprise. I also got to enjoy the scenery and watching wildlife along the river bank as well.
