Love eating tremocos, drinking cold lager and watching the world go by. Can easily eat too many like that though, although my ‘de-skinning’ of the tremocos technique leaves a lot to be desired and so fortunately slows down the process.

Hm, I tend to add it to the oil with garlic and chill before chucking in my veggys and bits and bobs to sauteé. I need to start trying to cook from recipes - I always make it up!

I don’t know why some shops are funny about filming. Maybe I’m naive. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m finding it interesting what food you’re buying and having in Cafés. I made a soup yesterday using up sweet potatoes 🍠 a can of coconut 🥥 cream and a jar of green Thai curry sauce. I replaced the onion with leek greens. Absolutely delicious, try it in your soup maker when you get home. 😊 Octopus 🐙 tentacles aren’t something I could eat. 😢 Funny isn’t it. I do eat meat, but some things I can’t bring myself to eat. I was vegetarian a few years ago but after being ill I needed a bit more protein etc in my diet. I feel for you trying to find gluten free foods. It’s a minefield. If I think of helpful tips for you I’ll post them on your channel. Have you tried the rice cakes from M&S with yogurt and dried strawberry? Gluten free and delicious. ❤ With squash, if IB drinks that be careful as lots have barley in which he might want to avoid. I usually go for shops own orange squash, apple, lime cordial. Are you spending more on food than you would back home? I know you’re buying for two of you mostly, I’m just wondering how prices compare with us back home. I buy the Plenish gluten free oat milk and lactose free cows milk. My tummy is so much better for it. Is IB finding benefits from avoiding gluten where possible? My husband started eating gluten free stuff with me and his diverticulitis and heartburn has stopped after many years of suffering. I went gluten free, lactose free and Low FODMAP after having my gallbladder removed. I seemed to develop food sensitivity after surgery. I kept a food diary to see if I could pinpoint certain foods that were upsetting my stomach. Absolute game changer. X
