[About the bento box]
Hi it’s imamu! I get some questions about my husband’s bento box so let me talk about that. First of all, the bento box is my mom send me from Japan. If you interested in the bento box, please check Amazon Japan ( Japanese one has many choices(design, size). need to change language setting from the menubar )
••• my husband’s bento box •••
Name/ 「Wooden bento box」 or 「Wappa bento box」
Size/ Small
(The size is important to arrange your amount of food. In my husband case...he doesn’t wanna eat too much at his work. I wanna pack the side dishes tightly because he put on his backpack when he get work. We don’t the dishes wanna act up that’s why small size for him.)
How he eats/
He eats the bento like room temperature. That’s natural thing for me and him. He also wanna start eating lunch at work quickly.
The reason why I like wooden bento box is/
1. The nostalgic design :)
2. Lightweight
3. The rice is tasty
( The wood moisturizes so that’s it won’t easily become hard to get stuck even when the rice is cold) ←This is depend on the wood quality. I guess( hope lol ) our bento box working well for that~
How I treat the wooden box/
1. Wash (ours is urethane coating so I use soap)
2. Wipe up wet part with a towel
3. Dry naturally
( The wood don’t go well with water. When my husband can’t wash and dry naturally it at work, just wipe up in the box and bring home. ( and I treat lol )
I learn that’s better rather than wash and put it in backpack soon.)
I explain a lot but I just wanna say, it’s important to use bento box that you LIKE :) ( If you like hello kitty, that would be so cute ~!)
I think they motivate a lot to make bento !

I can never understand men (or anyone really) who take this sort of stuff for granted or even complain. I grew up poor with a single dad who could barely cook toast and when he remarried and suddenly not only did I get regular meals cooked for me, but they also werent TV dinners I was thrilled. Anytime someone cooks for me, even if its a sandwich I get excited. If i were at work at someone offered to share half of one of these bento boxes with me i'd probably propose to them on the spot.

You really can feel the love she puts into her preparation of these boxes. It is inspiring!
This is the first video of yours I've watched and it made me want to subscribe right away. It is so relaxing watching you make each of the bento boxes, and it helps me wind down enough to go to sleep. Definitely looking forward to checking out your other videos.
Cooking is art and beautiful gifted talent like they can sense the taste of the food by it's smell and a pinch of food is enough to say everything ✨
I love how she shows her little mistakes and mishaps.. It’s just real and doesn’t put so much pressure on people like me who have no energy doing this everyday..
I like the fact of there were mistakes here and there. Like a piece of the egg shell fell on the bowl. Or the mixture dropped on the edge of the stove. It was very realistic. And I like it very much. Other video have the perfect kind of cooking show but this feels really much more closer to daily life. At least it is for me. Hehe. Thanks for the video. I enjoy it!! 🥰

@@rinreborn7364 Now I don't believe that was necessary, just because their boyfriend did something nice for them and you had a psychologically negative reaction to it, does not mean you should take away from them sharing a cute story. Honestly it's nice to know that your partner cares about you sometimes and I am sure these two will make each other plenty of nice lunches in the future. In fact, maybe you should go enjoy life and make someone a good lunch.

put y'all seatbelts on They're probably good (i.e. deserving) husbands. 😉 (With good wives, of course). If I were married and my spouse treated me well, I'd go out of my way to make them happy, too. (If the opposite, forget it). That's great! Not many husbands I know of would do that (willingly). Always treat your wife like a queen (and make her feel like one, too). Happy wife = peace in the home.
im in awe at the work that goes into these lunches! every day I just make myself a sandwich or put leftovers from last night's dinner into a tupperware- it's a five minute tops ordeal.
Your videos are awesome. They’ve taught me how to make smaller amounts of dishes with less waste and more flavor.

I can just imagine your husband’s employees being jealous of him for having such amazing lunches TT
I've made a few bentos for my husband when I have the time (we both have full time jobs, so I usually just cook dinner if I'm in the mood about 2-3 times a week) Usually, if I make dinner, I'll make a little extra for his lunch the next day and I'll arrange it nicely into a bento. But I'm so glad I found this channel, because I never really know what to put in them or how to plan them out for the week. I'd like us to start eating healthier and prepping meals for the week, and this channel has really helped me do that. So thank you!

@@TheVioletMaze ah yeah stay at home mum (or dad) is a big job. I personally know i wouldn't be as good at the job as my bf. On top, I'll be gaining nearly double of what he earns in the future, so financially it will also make more sense. However my personal favourite would be not for one parent to stay at home 100% and the other working 100%, because i think it's important for children to have a bit of every parent. However, not every job lends this flexibility, so we will see ^^
You take such good care of your husband 👏 Love all your recipes ☺️
