I always love scaring family members when I tell them most on call maintenance for the airlines you’re not actually fixing it, but deferring it

I love your videos. I am a pilot, machinist, and the owner of an HVAC company. You guys remind me of my guys at work. Keep your sense of humor and keep up the awesome work! Hilarious.

One of the sketchiest feelings I've felt was using the manual switch to raise and lower the gear doors of an A320 at two in the morning with literally NO one else on the field. The access for the manual switch is about a foot forward of the doors, and all I could think was "Man, if I mess up and get caught in these doors they wont find my dead self till morning!" Cant complain though because the airline call-outs were always good money! Great video 👍

Your job looks similar to mine starting in the '90s...called away from a worn out GA plane to work on airline stuff..sometimes all night. I flew charter also..one of the dumb other pilots didn't believe me that mechanics have NO duty time rules...not that charter companies or the FAA bother following them.. You had nice weather for your CRJ callout. I'm sure you get the 2 AM calls when it is 15f out, too, probably a fuel leak, so cold jet A is running down your numb fingers and arm...or you're walking around on a slippery wing that was de-iced right before the pilots noticed something broken..you should video those calls, too!

I helped build some of those crj’s way back in the day when I had hair on my head. I’m looking forward to getting back into aviation. I’ve been missing days like this.
