The last week of term is usually quite crazy, so this time I decided to vlog it. Exciting things include bar night!!, film trip to London, the rock and pop concert, my friends fighting and me flying home.

hi!! i didn’t choose my school because i got there through a scholarship program that decided that for me, but i’d choose the school again. it is a great place to evolve as an individual and i found the people there to be incredibly supportive of everything i did as well as the implementation of any ideas i had (clubs, weekend activities etc.)

it’s a very small school ahhaha, but also the way the system works is by allowing students to choose their subjects and some are more/less popular than others, resulting in a bigger or respectively smaller class)))

Not to disregard my immense privilege or the freedom money gives an individual, but I am at this school on a *full* academic scholarship. I knew that I wanted to study at an institution that wasn't available to me otherwise and as such motivated me to find a way to accomplish that desire of mine.

In another world of the 93%, funding per pupil has flatlined since 2010. How can private schools continue to receive charitable status resulting in tax benefits estimated at £1.6b per year.

If private schools didn’t have charitable status schools fees would go up, parents would pay extra and more people couldn’t afford it, so they would send their children to state school. Whereas currently those parents are paying for places their children haven’t taken up. This would put added pressure on the school system and wouldn’t necessarily be as beneficial as it first appears.

@@ebl36 It would raise £1.6b per year which would be ring-fenced for state schools. Even using the highest estimates of pupils moving to state schools this would leave over £1b extra funding for state schools.

Well said, its pure evil! They say the Devil will appear as a meek and innocent man. These videos portray private schools as a "delightfully cute and lovely innocent thing". But the reality is they are bulwarks of bigotry and corruption, and outright hate. They result in MASSIVE oppression and discrimination against the overwhelming majority. It also breeds massive incompetence. Thickos artificially get through exams then collude together to exclude the remaining 93%. from nearly all areas of public life. The result is extremly badly run organisations and institutions including ALL our political parties. All designed to subjugate the masses, no matter how hard working or gifted they are. Boarding schools themselves allow the culture of the Establishment to override and effectively brainwash children from a young age that they are "superior" to the masses. Its a form of legalised apartheid and just as wicked. Sadly too many Brits are completely asleep as to what is going on.
