The was / is my story. Fell in love - I was 13 and he was 15 . Had our son at 16. Married 2 weeks after my 18th Birthday. We made it through SO very much or so we thought. I'm battling my 3rd bout of cancer. This video is beautiful. We even look like the couple. I emailed it, this tonight. From my hospital room. Thank you for sharing. ( It may not be a home video. But the feeling it will carry... Well ~ it's profound )

I agree. For example, I like Taylor Swift's old music, about love. Her song, "Blank Space", has nothing to do with love or commitment.

I swear I'm falling sleep with tears right now.

I miss him so much. We were best friends and I've known him practically my whole life. I was/am so in love with him. He's moved on and I did too, but I feel so guilty for being with someone else and not feeling a thing for them. I miss everything of him. 😭💔

Years later, this song, this video still breaks my heart! I lost my true love too to cancer...all the breaths you take....you always remember every second!

If only Mandy and Shane would make more love stories together. They played so beautiful off of each other. Not sure that there could ever be a more romantic, loving, and tear jerking movie ever. This movie is the greatest of all time in my opinion.

I saw this movie a few weeks ago and feel in love with it. To me, it's great to see a teenage love story these days that doesn't have all kind of sex and trash in it. Her faith changed him and I also discovered Mandy Moore. I had never her sing before and she did this movie at 17 years old. What a voice! I put most of the songs on one of my playlist. The most touching part of the movie to me was what he said about love at the end. "Love is like the wind. You cant see it but you know it's there when you feel it blow." .......Very touching and a great film. I wished I had watched it years ago.

you need to read the book.. the book came out years ago before the movie.. it first came out in readers digest.. when they made the book i was stoked.. its a great book.

Very good point. This movie had a HUGE plus, despite its sad ending. And that's the fact, Landon learnt to stop thinking about himself (like most people in society today) and think of someone else. As well, it highlighted romance is a 7 letter word, not a 3 letter word starting with 's'.
