A walk through Scarborough Town Centre Food Court 2014
Legendary Toronto suburb of Scarborough! Incredibly diverse, vibrant, and fast-growing community. People from all over the world are here. Come and peak into the food court at Scarborough Town Centre on a Saturday afternoon, March 2014... Forgive the shakiness - I was walking quickly! :)

Wow! Im so happy you recorded this! This is history now! I miss the crowded scene wherein you have to spot empty tables to eat! Haha! Good times!

I haven't been there in years atleast since 2001 , I remember going there with my friends when I went to school out there boy this video brings back some memories , my dad and me some times went to that A&W a lot of thows restaurants are still there since I was last there .

Many changes since then! The arcade and palm trees are gone. :) Scarborough's Walk of Fame used to be in the food court - now it's on the lower level. Many new eateries, reflecting the changing population - Tandoori, Korean BBQ, Shanghai dim sum, Medina, plus a Moxie's restaurant (no more Diana's, Magic Pan, and Summerfield's!) Still as busy as ever. P.S. I worked here part-time eons ago. ;)

Hello! Thanks for filming this. It's the way things were in 2014. It's now 2021. Please go back and film again, Food court moved downstairs. There is now a Jollibee upstairs and a Tim Hortons.

wow the food court it had were good. Now 2023 lower floor food court has less options to choose
What happened to the arcade that was there? Times are changing too fast.

Hi! The arcade is long gone! (There is an Xscape entertainment hub at the Cineplex, though.) Yes, Scarborough is a fast-changing 'burb! Always interesting - with room for improvement. FYI: It was just named Best Food Suburb in the World by an American economist. Story appeared in the Star and went viral. Great for Scarborough's businesses! :)
