I noticed when I was up Scotland the castles are hard to see from the roads unlike in Wales , I only went to Edinburgh castle as I do like a glimpse before visiting it so happy you showed us this one , That foot really did move. We stayed at Ayr and just assumed if turned off into the castle you had to go in it. My late Father could have been called a gas manager of sorts he was a ventilation officer health and safety of a coal mine , I remember has a child him bringing canaries home after they stopped using them to test for gas scary.

Lovely to see round the castle again ,my son was married there i years ago , we booked the hotel and the surrounding buildings out for the weekend ,it was magical .The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable we had the best time . Thanks for your video

You should have gone down onto the beach and turned left: under the castle is an enormous cave which was inhabited by bats back in 1977 when I went to a late night beach-party with a crowd of friends from the Redhurst Hotel in Giffnock, Glasgow. Nice wee beach for the dogs to enjoy.

You both go to some amazing places, as always, thank you for taking us along.

I really enjoyed that, especially the guided tour, it was very interesting. I loved the room with the panoramic view, what a great place for watching storms. Thanks Bob.

It was! We stayed in a caravan then on a horse riding farm. I cannot remember the big hotel there, we were messing about on the beach with our children. My sister realised she had dropped the car keys , fortunately there was no one else there, so we retraced our steps and found them .

Another interesting watch, iiI live near the old gas works in St Albans

what an interesting place! I was expecting another ruin! Ha! Have to say you did a fabulous job of filming inside and getting all the scoop! Such a beautiful site too and so well kept. Great job of filming and those of us watching it from our recliners thank you very much :)

Lovely as usual, we are soaking up the rain in Balbirnie lol we should have stayed at home and came visit yous, off to St Monins tomorrow till end of week... hope it stays dry for yous for the most part

Seeing the gas contraption makes me appreciate never to moan when I have "gas". Wedding Crashers 2 (apt after your own wedding video).

Hi bob and Jen good vlog thanks. Bob you’ve got the same heating as ours. Does your heating work on and off through the night at the temperature you set Is it because you have it on night mode,ours works fine in the day. But at night if I set it at 17 degrees when I wake up next more it’s not come on and it’s 11 degrees Any ideas 👍
