Back in 1990, we had a flat, Lennox house, a big house at the top of the road from traffic lights, while doing my college stuff in Stockport. Love the market, was my first taste of chips and gravy! Being a southerner I was absolutely blown away, now it’s a matter of course!

Thank you for sharing. Tuesday is the best day there with the market, espif it's lovely and sunny ☀️ with blue sky. I meet my daughter, granddaughter and brother there on a Tuesday. We go in our favorite cafe there.

I used to live and teach in Ashton! I would hardly recognise it now. The market hall and town hall are still recognisable. I’m glad there were such a variety of shops open.😊

Thank you for the trip round Ashton. I was born there in 1935. So you can imagine how it feels to take a trip as it is now. The only thing the same is the market and town hall.

I love Ashton, especially on a Tuesday, like on your video as there's more of a market and more People. I use to love it more in the 90's as the market was really busy and more of a nice atmosphere. Thanks for the video. I will be there on Friday with my daughter and Granddaughter.
