Ok but do you need permission bc I would love to fly my drone and don’t worry I’m not a Karen a Karen I just love ferries

No worries. I would suggest that firstly you need to establish whether the area you're going to fly in (in this case the harbour) comes under any restrictions for operating a drone. Secondly, as long as you stay far enough away from whatever it is you're filming (in this case the ferry) and you are outside of the distances specified in the CAA rules, you should be fine. A bit of common sense helps too, don't do anything that could annoy or harm anyone.@@OliverMccarthy-gs6qh
