A very rare example of a late model Cessna 180K with all the desirable attributes on one airframe.

Very hard to find a single aircraft with all the features that make these Cessna 180's so desirable. It was thought that one did not exist and yet here it is. Late model 1979, low time airframe, upgraded 520 engine also low time. A three bladed prop, a float kit but it has never been on floats, excellent paint excellent custom leather interior, Avidyne IFR avionics, a wet wing with 88 gallons capacity. Two sets of tires, 31 inch and 850x6's. Large 185 vertical fin and Gross weight increase. Never damaged and very complete logbooks. We have a close look at it and what makes it so rare.

Mark, 'loved this video. I almost have a unicorn. My '79 has a float kit but never been on floats, has wet wing, jack screw access plate, bigger Texas Skyway 0-550 engine, Sportsman cuff, VGs, converted to an Alaskan utility interior, no corrosion, no damage history, complete set of logs, 8.5" tires with snider speed kit, IFR...BUT 3500 total hrs which is more than this buggy's 1900 hours. I also love this Skywagon's paint scheme...very, very attractive! Good to see you back at it!

That plane is a very fine looking classic unicorn very tempting if I had back country property... I believe we would probably have a few unicorns like this hiding down here in New Zealand's South Island, as I reckon nearly every high country station will have a 180 or 185 hiding behind the barn doors somewhere. Living in the biggest city here, You see the odd one venturing into Christchurch Airport NZCH full of crayfish crates from a jaunt over the 10000ft mountains from the far southwest, but I suspect with interiors nothing like this beauty. :)

@@blancolirio It seems like maybe it’s only the lesser-educated Trumpers. Ask your kids if they were taught the correct pronunciation. Better, ask your wife! You weren’t in the army but if you were like I was (a medium cargo helicopter company in Korea) you would have also learned the correct meaning of the word “troop“. It is misused about 95% of the time by reporters and journalists but there were only two Army soldiers among the 13 military members killed by the Kabul airport bomb so I didn’t hear one report calling them troops (like sierra, troop is already a plural, it means a group of Army soldiers) because 11 were Marines, one an Air Force airman (airwoman?), and one was a Navy sailor. During the Vietnam war I remember reporter/journalist/World War II army veteran Andy Rooney talking on TV about the missuse of the term troop. Every since I thought it was better to use the general term member (as in member of the military) because it covers all the branches.
