A few ways I am helping myself:
1) Doing Bollywood dance/ Bhangra twice a week (following a passion)
2) Cooking more (it forces me to eat!)
3) Being honest with the people I care about the most about what's going on and what they can do/ stop doing to help and REACHING OUT

5) Going to the gym in the evening so I sleep better at night

And side note: Oxford is by no means the definition of success or intelligence - in fact being here has helped me learn that sometimes it feels like the opposite - feel empowered in whatever you do and achieve because it is VALID.

    This spoke to me on another level... I got rejected from Oxford (got into St Andrews though...) this year and then I felt horrible ... the exact same way that you did... could not wake up, stayed in bed ... I was definitely feeling like shit. Ate shit, did absolutely nothing. Didn’t study for my mocks in Jan and I’m so behind on work. But I trusted the process. Last night was horrific and I felt like giving up. And then this morning I woke up feeling like I had some control of my life. I went for a walk and actually did some work. Things get better. Thank you so much for being real. This spoke to me in ways nothing else really did . God Bless and hope you smash ur mocks ❤️❤️

    Thank you so much for this video. I feel this so hard. I'm also at Oxford in 2nd year two and have just had a wrecker of a term - it just becomes so much worse in high pressure environments because it feels like everyone is moving at 1000 miles an hour and it's embarrassing coming out your room at 4pm in your pyjamas when your flatmates have been to the gym, written 2 essays and have their lives together. Prioritising the things that made you sane is such a good idea and I hope next term and the rest of your time at uni is a bit easier - you're right. Pain is only transitory.

    Hi I need your opinion I know that you can’t 100% say anything to my question but I was going to say my mental health got worse when I was doing my GCSES and I was predicted high grades but I did not get the grades and I could not do my 3 Alevels at college and got put onto BTEC level 1 I passed that and my resits then I did level 2 business and got D/M now I am doing Musical Theatre Psychology and Music performance I am so behind my course work and work in general I have felt so depressed and sad I am so behind my deadline for my work is tomorrow but I haven’t even started it but I was going to say if I get my grades I need I always had a dream to study at oxford and music is my passion and they said they do accept BTECS for the course I am interested in however I do really want to go to oxford and apply next year but this year has been so painful for me how am I supposed to get my life back I feel like I can’t go to Oxford now because I am so behind in my work and feel so depressed so you have any advice for me thanks
