Are the ferries going to Morroco departing from Spain or Gibraltar? If we want to travel from Spain to Morroco would we need uk visa?

They depart from Algeciras and Tarifa. Algeciras is about 20-30 minutes from La Linea Gibraltar border, where as Tarifa is about an hour.Here’s a few videos showing some of the ferries that cross from Algeciras to Ceuta Spain, and Tangiers Morocco: kzread.info/head/PLAbd5dlm0_demX0VUuWixYHfkbfwCf9jJ&si=iKb1ZZhEqomZGT9b You can prepurchase tickets online or buy them at the ferry terminal in Algeciras. You can also buy a travel package for a day trip or an overnight trip from Tarifa to Tangiers. I have not done that trip yet. The prices for the roundtrip tickets on the ferry and the hotel for the night seemed very reasonable to me at the travel agency where I arrange and buy my tickets for the train. I would definitely opt for a guided day or overnight tour for me personally. I’m not sure about the Visa requirements as that depends country to country. Thanks for your question!

Not all the time. However, the amount of cameras, both seen and hidden on both sides is unreal. I’ve watched the cameras follow me up and down this side, and the other side. There is specifically one on the Spain side, I’ve watched move back and forth following me as I’ve walked up and down the coast. There is also a new camera on the Gibraltar side facing the Spain side watching the beach. In the past (and probably still) there has been a lot of smuggling (all types), so the border is watched “like a hawk.” I’ve been stopped by police several times for doing absolutely nothing, but being in the area. Also, the airport is Ministry of Defense for Britain, so it’s well guarded and protected both seen and unseen.

Yeah and sometimes when I’m doing a filming project near the water the Royal Gibraltar Police pull up on their speed boat, pull out their binoculars and stare at me 😂😂😂 I finally made T-shirts with my logos on them so when they do that, they can identify me and move on 😂😂😂
