Thank you for making this video specifically for me. Please enjoy my very long comment: Absolutely INSANE the issues at check-in. How in the world would they expect that to work when so many people are traveling on company dime? Glad you had your status. Was fun to see you on one of their older, former Northwest 320s. For record, I've been on that same bird (back in June '22), and it's one of the 5 oldest planes I've been on at time of flying. Not to date myself, but it's older than me! I think Delta does a great job of retrofitting their older frames with modern interiors. I would bet most people flying would guess their plane is half as old as it is. Not excited for the eventual (maybe? still pending...) rollout of their MAX 10s. I love the roominess, even in the back, in those 320s. The new IFE experience has had a slow roll out. Got to try it first on the 21Neos over a year ago, and only just this week (!) have seen it on the 320s. Good timing. I think currently only the 21Neos have Bluetooth compatibility (and possibly only in First, iirc), which would be nice to see roll out more widely, like on United. People love KATL, and it is admittedly pretty quick to make a multiple terminal change there given the layout and the train, but I'll prioritize changes in KSLC or KDTW or even KMSP any chance I get. Glad the TATL portion of the journey went smoothly as well! I had you tracked on Flighty so I was following along. Welcome to Nigeria!

I'm so glad you watched! I was really curious to know what your take is on all this, so thanks for your comment! With the issue at check-in, I asked "Do all flights need the original form of payment?" She said no, but couldn't tell me what the criteria was for the requirement. She also said "You would have gotten a warning when you booked." Alas, I was not the person booking, so I had no idea this could have been an issue. I'm REALLY hoping I don't have an issue on the way back. At some point beforehand, I'll try calling Delta to get a policy ruling so that I'm not fighting with some contracted outstation staffer. The modern IFE on United and Delta is pretty damn good. As an AirPods user, I love the Bluetooth connectivity. I like what's possible when you allow passengers to log into the IFE and save preferences. As for the ATL-LOS segment, the gate agent asked me to switch from 4J to 3A to accommodate a family, which I didn't mind. The issue is that he didn't update my seat in the system, so there was a bit of confusion with the cabin crew. And after we pushed back we had to immediately return to the gate because some of the gate-checked luggage was left on the jetway. That small mistake cost about 20 minutes because of all the procedure involved in getting the luggage into the belly and then pushing back again. I decided to leave all that out of the video because it was a bit mundane (well, more mundane than the rest of it). Thanks again for watching!

Thanks for the video! Very nice! Have you tried United or Delta’s Premium Economy on long-haul flights? Look forward to your future videos!

Why did they ask for the same form of payment? What is the reasoning?

They didn’t say why, but I assumed fraud prevention?

@@MattRichardson hmmm. I wonder it it is some kind of policy or simply a ticket agent's attitude? I assume plenty of passengers have their tickets purchased by third parties.
