You guys get the dirtiest rugs! It makes me wonder how the rugs got that way. Fire, flood, left out in the elements...

The rugs can come from a garden, garage or a construction site. People use rugs in those areas as entrance matts, usually in places where the walking path gets muddy, for ex in greenhouses or on sandy floor in construction sites. A carpet helps to not get dirty in mud

@@cleanlublin так я же со всем уважением!!! Этот вопрос действительно интересует!!! В ссср люди пользовались коврами, как не в себя, но даже даже те, которые лежали в прихожих на полу, никогда не были на столько равномерно грязными. Да что там!? У нас в подъездах многоквартирных домов на входе коврики так не пачкаются.
