Thanks for sharing your trainingroutine or at least a part of it. Personally i use a 66 lb weightvest for my leg workouts. Not exactly bodybuilder level but it works for me.

Vanity muscles are deceptively weak. How many chin-ups can Shaundra do? There is no correlation between strength and health. Exercise is an important component but eating lots of animal flesh is counter-productive, and vanity muscles are a waste of time.

Best of luck with your run. You're getting to the age that the fast twitch muscles are starting their decline. I'm trying to figure out a way of reversing that, but I haven't found any sure fire way of doing that in my mid 60's.

I trained my ass off and beat my high school varsity 3 mile cross country time 30 years later. You doing the same on your distance I have no doubt you could and will achieve.

I recently realized I was getting weaker not stronger. Found myofascial release and foam rolling. Started with a tennis ball to find sore spots and release the individual muscle. To my surprise, my walking improved with 1 day of work. I will get my muscles working and build strength. m

Will be interested in hearing about your 400 meter time at your current age. I ran a 60 second 400 in college. Not bad for a volleyball player. Wonder if I could ever get close to that again. 58 years old now. Back then I weighed 145 pounds and was 13 percent body fat. I'm probably in the low 20s percentage now and 160lbs. Got some work to do. I'm a bodyworker in northern Florida. Working with some professional athletes. Necks and heads are my specialty. Fascial work, craniosacral, acupuncture and dry needling is all good stuff. Hope you recover quickly

Are there any other measures someone who has had gastric bypass surgery would need to take if beginning the carnivore diet - I’m thinking of potentially nutrient malabsorption due to a shortened digestive process etc.?

Hi Shawn, thanks for your video. I’m on carnivore diet from August 2023, I’m fine. 46 years old 175 cm, 68 kg Crossfit 6 x week. 200 gr fat 200 gr protein 0 carbs (only from liver) Fat meat, eggs (more yolk) and ghee butter. Breakfast 7 am Workout 1 pm Lunch 3 pm Dinner 7:30 pm I’ve a question about post workout meal Is it better to have more protein and less fat in a post workout meal? Or I can divide the macros what I want? Thanks a lot.

Could there be any potential health issues going carnivore ? None of these influncers discuss this ever ( the honest vegans do ) Is the for every postive there is a negative theory non applicable when you go Carnivore ?

No, carnivore is simply our natural diet, not a contract with Satan. You will face many difficulties the first month or so while your body adapts to ketosis, your gut adapts to a fiber-free diet and your kidney to zero carbs environment (less water retention in the body). Nothing after that. Your body is designed to eat meat. Maybe if you do hours upon hours of intense exercise everyday like Paul Saladino for example, maybe then you actually have a need for carbohydrates and could consider adding fruit to your diet for optimal health (like electrolyte balance).

Unironically yes, we evolved for a high-meat diet, not eating it makes us sick, going back to it mostly brings us back to the baseline health we are supposed to be at. Ethnographic data and stable isotope analysis proves as much.

@@lilith2754 Studies to back up those bold claims ? Can you cite any ? How does the carnivore twins studies compare to the vegan twins studies for health outcomes ?

yeh, mate ..I am sure that carnivore - 3 months - has increased my workouts immensely.. got a question.....my urine went yellow on carnivore ..not dark..but so i cant see through it in a jar......like light yellow maybe a little orange cloudy but there's only small residue after a coupla days in that jar. ..still maintains the colour..Is that anything to be worried about? what is it..?..I'm concerned, I heard somewhere that high purine or meat diet can cause uric acid kidney stones.I've had those mongrel stones before - oxalate - (lithotrypsy X 2) and dont want any more dramas. Thanks for any advice....
