Hello!! Hubs and I have enjoyed your videos!! We are heading to La Paz on May 14 for a 2 month stay and an extended stay traveling to Matzalan, Puerta Vallarta, Lake Chapala area, and ultimately to Guadalajara. Look forward to more of your work and we adore your little dog!!

How much is rent for a one bedroom?

In La Paz, using Airbnb for a month, it looks like a one bedroom runs about $1,200usd. Pretty sure you can find a much better deal renting from a local. You can join a facebook group for La Paz and ask around. Hope this helps. Thank you for joining us on the Journey! 😎
Question about your temporary residency. Were you self-employed? What did you use to show financial solvency? Reason i am asking, i don't have pay stubs since i am self employed but i can show my bank statements. Thanks

Mark we had to show income OR enough money in investments etc. to show that we were able to live in Mexico. It can get complicated so I suggest using an attorney. I must say y'all are rather couragegeous especially being white. More power to y'all and safe travels. This is not a safe place to bring children for those watching this video. Please be adults and stick to very populated, safe places, as any other place in Mexico don't go off course. Cuidado

Glad to see that you featured the Mercado Bravo in this vidio. We were in La Paz this winter, Jan.- March 20th. We shopped and ate at Bravo 2 maybe 3 times a week. Great produce, seafood, cheese and cooked food. We never once saw or had any problems anywhere in La Paz this year or during our 3 months last year. We do speak Spanish fairly well so do contribute to the local economy all the time. P.S. the carnitas stand outside the Mercado Bravo by the parking lot has the best Carnitas. Two for one on Wed. We'd buy 1 kilo for the price of 1/2 kilo. Try it if you can. Love La Paz & it's friendly people.
