Holy hedgerows! This was the very first map I ever played when I got FS15, did all my learning on these fields! I have vivid memories of the shop area and the ramped entrances, trying to get long trailers in and out. I'm only 2 mins into the video and loving it already :-)

It looks good but it's all looks. Every thing is too tight. For a large map it's a struggle to make large trailers and such work. Nothing about this American map is American in the since. No reson to have to back into a grain silo that off loads into a train... that's just stupid.

I like how the tractors and harvesters dotted around the place are all Deutz Fars, from the old games. Nice touch.

Westbridge hills was what got me addicted to farming simulator on 15, and I was a bit disappointed with the 19 version, but I agree with Mr SealyP the version on 22 is really well done, the new addition and changes work well! Congrats to the modder on a job well done my favorite map on 22 so far bringing some good memories back to FS for me! 😁

I remember when I first played on westbridge hills it was on FS 15 and I loved it but looking at this map review all I can say is that the whole map, town, farm, selling points went on modernization and I'm really looking forwards to play on it again.

Ahh the memories! For me it was FS 2013 and fond memories of endless mowing missions at the baseball field and drive in movie theatre.. good times indeed! As conversions of older maps, especiqlly GIANTS ones, I have to agree this one is a real corker! Everything fits perfectly, fully functional for FS22 and a brilliant reimagining of a classic map! Mr. Sealyp - your verbal expressions are in line with how we feel about this map. I was living/working in Australia at the time this first came out. As a Indiana Hoosier, this map hit my homesickness and made life a bit more bearable. Tons of hours spent on this map, redoing the map, etc. Love it.

The one thing that I was hoping to see and it’s there!!! The Drive-In!!!!!

100 % agree with you Mr SealyP. Best version to date. I too started this on 15 and only came into the map to look around. Now I;m starting my own game I loved it so much.

Brilliant map tour mrsealyp. You sounded so excited to be there again. Maybe you should do a let's play on it I'm sure no one would mind. I've only been playing a year so would be new to me anyway lol. None of us mind repetition that's farming. I'm still on fs19 and have 2500 hours on felsbrunn and I'm still enjoying it. I still am hoping and praying for Spectacle Island, maybe a few months from now because I know JiM had probably considered it but hasnt decided on it yet, which I think he should because I still have a game save on fs19 I go back to every now and again just for nostalgia amd to check in on it and remind myself how grateful I was to have that map. Because it took me months and months of trial and error to find a proper map I actually genuinely wanted to play and enjoyed!!

So glad the buildings are usable in this version, always disappointed me not being able to use all the barns in the main farm. Thanks for the tour mate

This was my dad’s favourite map he put a lot of hours in on fs15,fs17 and fs19 a lot of happy memories he would have loved this on fs22 thanks for the map tour

I was fairly disappointed with the 13 version as all the grass was brown, so I played on the Hagenstedt map more. The 15 version was loads better as it was lush and green, and I've revisited every version since, including the 4x ones. I'm with you on this one, FSG, on it being the best-looking version yet. I, too, am frustrated with the decision of whether to give it another go. I think I will probably brush off the nostalgia and at least give it a look, just for old times' sake. Great video!

I've been waiting for a good mod map to play and i think for the same reasons as MrSealyP i really enjoyed playing this map originally. Great review once again, thank you for your time and effort with all your videos MrSealyP. 🙂👍

You can buy all land?

The barn and workshop are available on the more difficult modes because of how hard it is to place them I'd guess. Trying to form the ground around them is a pain.

Was playing on the Island, then I saw Fruhling last week and had to play on it. Now again after just getting started over, here comes one of my favorite maps Westbridge so I will be starting over... I have no doubt Goldcrest Valley will drop next week SMH and I will be starting over....AGAIN :) What are you doing to me Mr Sealy P! haha

The equipment we start with is like hitting the lottery. What don’t I have? Everything we need to welcome us back to for some of us our first map. BRAVO!!!

Basically the map I played on fs15, great stuff back then, always fun to build a massive farm from scratch. Seems to be updated decent, quite like the look, just there's some spots that are a bit rough in terms of landscaping, where there are some weird shapes on the ground and uneven parts seemingly, like the tree in middle of the yard and just general parts where there are alot of different ground types used

do love the job that was done on this map. the only thing that bothers me with it is not being able to sell the items around the cow barn or the items at the BGA (just me but I prefer a different type of bunker) other than that great job bringing this map back to life.👍👍👍

Its almost like going back to the place you grew up after being away for 20 years. A lot has changed for the better but there's still enough to remind you of how it was back then.

Brings back so many memories but love all the new stuff.

I played the original on fs13. I spent only around 40 hours on it but in those days, I didn't even know you could speed uo time. I was afk waiting for crops to grow. Canola was king.

Hey Mr Sealy P,... nice map tour! And yes, I feel your frustration. Western wilds series is great and I wish you keep rockin there! Isn't there a way so you can integrate this map in there,... creating a bit of a story about your friend or brother who is farming somewhere else (westbridge) and then you talk about them and show some gameplay on that map. I don't know, just thinking out loud. It could extend the series and deepen the story,... well have a great day anyway. Thanks for all your entertaining video's.

spent many hours on the original map, but man does the scale of everything just seem so large now that so many fantastic small feeling maps have come out and the general scale feel of great maps feel more realisitc

Luckily you can demolish the gates and the fencing! As for the starting equipment, you can probably sell it, buy other ones and use the lease and return option which MrSealyP taught me to reduce the money back to 100k. .. your choice...

I agree with your opinion about the FS19 version being underwhelming but the FS games have changed a lot since this came out of FS13. It was a very different game back the . I remember the forestry mod for FS13 and it was so different from what we got in FS15 lol.

Wasn’t the combine you stared with was smaller and can’t remember the make either on FS15 was it a small international?

The first thing i did was change the gate by the sheep it opened onto the road . changed it so opened onto the farm yard . Old Favourite map 🚜🚜

This is one of my favorite Maps and farmer simulator history

There are two bugs in this map. One is only a visual bug and does not affect gameplay. Near field 4 there is a sewer man hole cover that is supposed to be in the road, but it is floating in the field while the placement marker can be seen in the street. The other affects gameplay. While the train constantly has the highest selling prices, I only got the train to work once, and after that it never seems to arrive again when you rent it. I really like this map, otherwise. The buildings and equipment you get on Easy to start with is decent and acceptable and really well thought out. On Medium it is a good area to custom build your own farm building setup. The multiple field hay and silage bale contracts make it easy to make money from the start.

This is why I don't like giants allowing multiple mod maps of their older base game maps because in my honest opinion this map is just a updated modernized 22 version and there's another one that's in testing I believe that is a conversion and has a lot of the original stuff from 19 and the older games my opinion those are better we have the same problem with gold crest there's a modernized version and then a conversion I know it gives people more choice on what version they want to play on but I always like sticking with the old feeling from the older maps like for example if someone did a conversion of fellsburn from 19 I would want them to keep it just like it was on that game just with all the features like seasons and production chains built into the map so you would get the old feeling from that map just with new features instead of someone going and making it like the old one but adding all the new buildings and all the other stuff like some of the map modders are doing like this one for example

Sell points are just junk. You need small equipments to sell your goods.. And huge equipment to farm.... it's not well thought out.... just a bunch of stuff in the way. If I want a maze I would rather build it on this great map...not obligated to use it.

Is there a way to remove those fences surrounding the property

I have had a problem with the Forage Trailer. The pickup would not engage, thinking it is a problem with the trailer as I tested it another map same tractor and same problem.

Try unfolding it first, then you can drop it and turn it on...

I agree with everyone else that this is the best version so far and mine always spawns me at the farm house also I love the mixture of old and new on this map has the nostalgia for those of us that have played on it from 13 15 17 19 as well as all the new features perfectly added very well done

I play two ways with animals and without and I like doing farm manager

My first was fs13 and all i like the map it changed alot but to the good

This is the only map I have on FS 17, 19 and 22. On 15 was in game so it doesn't count although there I started first time in farming and this was the first map I played. Probably that's why I have it on all FS since then.

Excellent map, excellent tour. My only complaint is the train bug where it gets stuck in the void. This is a well known issue that hasn’t been resolved since it’s release. It would be nice if it were fixed but other than that I love it.

Anyone know what's happened with this map? It's disappeared from mod hub 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ I have it downloaded luckily but I hope it's coming back as its a good one!

I'm not going to lie I'm not a big map person however there's so much new fun here I going to allow it to remain on slot 3 alongside goldcrest and European countryside I can't wait to play again oh and as huge as that field is taking sensor readings wasn't that bad 18 readings cheaper than expected at 900

Will be good to play on this ,pamper again. So buggy in 19 I gave up on it

Another fantastic map tour, this is also where I found FS and fell in love. One side not about your comment with we have the storage on 22, unfortunately Xbox users still only have a 4gb mod storage. This isn't a complaint more just making you aware in case some one does moan 😂. It would still be great to bjhornholm back in a good version for 22. 👍

If you get rid of the two new buildings that you're left with on farm manager and start from scratch you are left with 2 great big holes which you can't cover I tried it and had to start again you can't get rid of them if you do your left with two craters which nothing can cover have the same problem on Elm Creek

Damn damn damn I’m hooked on westbridge hills all over again to many faults on the 19 version but the 22 version is outstanding

Fs 13 was main focus cause didn't have to own nothing.but tractor mower and forage wagon so alot of ppl used the biogas as main farm

Excellent review! Love the map! You mentioned contracts. Has anyone noticed since 1.5 update that contracts/map have been off? Seems like anytime you enter the map or update the overlays the map updates the fields and causes contracts to disappear unless previously accepted. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm playing on Goldcrest Valley and the contracts have dried up almost completely. When I first started there was lots of them, now hardly any which has been pissing me off. Didn't think it was a update problem though. Good to know. If this is the case I hope they get on it and fix it cause I love doing contracts to keep me busy when I'm not doing anything on my own farm. I've been saving and reloading until a contract or 2 comes up so I can do them which is pretty stupid you have to do that. I hope Giants is aware of this cause I haven't seen anyone else mention it till you did just now.

I am not 100% sure it is update related but it seems to coincide with the timing of it. I have started new maps where contracts were available to start and cycled through layers on the map and watched the map change through each new layer change. It is like it is updating the map in the background which is dropping contracts off the list.

@@kirch234 Something has definitely changed because when I first started Goldcrest Valley there was lots of contracts the 1st couple years, now, hardly any. I thought it might have been something with the map but hopefully it was something with the update and not the map because I really like this map.

I definitely don’t think it is just a single map. I’ve tried several maps both base game and mod maps, new and established saves and I can literally sit and watch contract disappear within a few minutes of them appearing on the list. I figured out a way to put in a ticket with Giants so hopefully they will address the issue. Keep our fingers crossed!

So far my fav map has been the construction map because I can build it the way I want which is Big American farm , but now after seeing this map and how much has changed with it since fs19 , damn looks like i'll have to have 2 maps going at once now lol , thanks sealy . :P

Have you played the map much? And your thoughts? I think the loading areas and etc. are too tight. It's seems like a large farming area with tiny areas that large equipment just can not unload in. The Industry areas are tight and confined and it's more work to unload that to do anything else.

I have yet to try the construction map. I will give it a try. I've played this game for a long time.... the new wb22 isn't as good... knowing it's a lot of junk thrown in and the areas are made to except little equipments. If you have a precision farming sensor on the front you will get hung up. If you don't have small vehicles to move your goods.... it's ridiculous. It looks nice but it's not really a production area for the land that surrounds it. No room to get into to sell your crops? Sounds like covid and the whole world. Suppose that's the objective? Thinking the world wants us all to think small... and I'm just about being productive!

Are there any other rollers than the Dalbo rollers

Looks a great map, shame the train doesn't travel more freely around the map though.

In fs 15 you could but trees then cut them down then sell the stumps. That is how I made my money to start my game.

Unfortunately for my self I did not get that map :(. I am not sure if it is for PC only or something but I did not get it on my ps4. I checked from when this video dropped on here till tonight and still nothing. I hope it does come because I always loved westbridge hills.
