That eshop theme song at the end just hits differently... One of my longest and most meaningful relationships has been tied to my experience with the 3DS. My former partner and I are no longer together, but we played pokemon and kid icarus and smashbros... I traveled my country carrying the 3DS, made a lot of friends at my work through the streetpass... collected games, bought themes and VC titles... So many memories. Happy to have been able to live it to the core! Nowadays, me and my ex still keep in touch, our friendship in part to keep the hacks updated and to talk about those wonderful games. This leaves a bittersweet taste, but also a warmth in the heart, like all good memories... Long live the 3DS!

I'm so sad that I missed this other side of Nintendo, as I was one of the lucky 13.56 million to experience the Wii U. I also vividly remenber my younger bothers having Blue 2DSes (original) with MK7, but theirs didn't last an year. (iirc)

I realised the eshop closes the day before it closed and went crazy and bought like 20 games

Finding your channel was one of the best things lately, the 3DS is my favorite console (Not just comparing to Hand Helds) and I managed to buy physical copies of my favorite games in time before the store shut down. I know that physical copies will go up in price and I wanted to make sure to get the ones I really wanted in time, and your channel helped me stay on track by seeing the notifications during my busy routines, always serving as a reminder and thankfully, I did it. Looking forward to more of your content my friend 😉

3ds eshop is legendary for the downloading animation alone

As a person owning 2 3Dses both Pokemon themed and 1 blue 2 DS, I am happy I still have them and am sad about the end of the DSes..

bro that og eshop music you put at the end hit me like a damn truck I remember being 11 when it just came out and just browsing the eshop when it first launched getting all the demos, good times.

Just think, when we were kids there were only _two_ genders...

In 2011 it was a rocky start but it wasn’t bad with the 3DS i’ll never forget those magic moments I’ll miss it 😢 now that eShop is gone on the 3DS it’s the PS3 that i still have with me

StreetPass is still alive btw! Brought it back along with Zion at Pax West 2023!

Last month I was able to get a brand new 2ds xl from Nintendo by sending my old New 3ds xl that was broken. Ive been addicted since lol

Honestly I'll always treasure the 3ds, it wasnt the strongest but it was super nostalgic and had alot of good titles and it was the end of my favorite mario series the Mario and Luigi rpg series.

I spent like 25 hours just listening to the music on the eshop

I always went on the 3ds eshop just to watch the trailers for games and dlc's

When I heard the 3DS was officially getting discontinued in 2020, I knew that the death of the Eshop was imminent. So I went on a crusade of buying every physical 3DS and DS game I want. The result? Well...my backlog got extensively bigger lol

I use my 3ds daily and more than my switch. I haven’t used my switch in 2 months

ah love this guy "modding your 3ds is probably the greatest thing a any human being could do on this planet, curing terminal illness? PSHHSHSH NO! does that let you use hshop?!" LMFAO 😂 16:14

This is just leading up to the 4ds, with the sequel of super Mario 4d land.

I am going to miss this platform but sometimes we need to move on for the next big thing

This video made me think about my 3ds from when I was like 6 and I have a semi illegal funny story on how I got mine. My dad stole it from our local Pamida (if you don't know, Pamida was like a very small version of Walmart that turned into Shopko) because the cashier there spent 30 minutes talking on her phone and being overall rude so my dad just walked out of the store with the 3ds in his hand without paying for it. The funny thing was that the alarm went off, but no one came after us so we just drove home. I still have it to this very day, but sadly I lost the charger to it long ago so I haven't been able to play on it since 2015

I've never owned a 3ds, only have a 2ds xl. Never saw the 3d appeal

So come on now this is isn't a tribute this is a review of it's lifespan as a console with the most annoying editing possible. It's not respectful just silly and stupid. Each video you make it becomes easier for me to click off.
