Thank you for the memories (graduated '71), especially of Mr. Roth, Mr. Van Gorder and Mr. Oxx. Each of them left me with wonderful, lasting memories!

I graduated in '93. Coach Lambert, Mr. Melton and Mr. Paley were teachers of mines! 🍻

Class of '94 here. Mr. Paley was one of my favorite teachers. Amazing to see him as a young man here

I remember you as Miss Kurkjian. I had her for English (pretty sure - or was it social studies. . I felt, for some bizarre reason, you seemed to think I held promise. Turns out I did become a writer (who knew?!) . I hope you're a fan of Ruthless People, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and My Cousin Vinny - all of which I wrote. (though Scoundrels was a remake, so I only take partial credit for that one). I remember you drove a red Corvette (or did you have the Blue one?) Such a pleasure to see you here.

@@dalelauner1965 Based on the date you were in one of my first classes right out of college and it probably was English. Loved Ruthless People and My Cousin Vinny. They were both hilarious and original. Congrats on a fruitful career. And, I had the red Corvette.

Thank you for posting this. there were teachers who I hadn't seen forever. We didn't have cell phones to take a million pictures then. I was happy to see Miss Harper, Miss Beatty, Mrs. Whitlow, and Kenneth Kamp. ( I ended up going into music, but never did much in high school)--Lynn Rosen, class of '74

I graduated in the class of '65 but I sure do remember a lot of the teachers I had. Brings back fond memories (mostly). Thanks for this.

Thank you so much for this. I had some of the same teachers my parents, aunts and uncles did (they were classes of 1967-1979 and I was class of 1988).

Gerald London is a hero of mine. "There's nothing not worth learning." Don't know how you missed that quote.

Thank you teachers. Mr. Lopez for teaching me to be bilingual and made me want to be a teacher and all the rest. Now I retired from LAUSD 39 years. . Susan Sulu Lubin Dubow class of the 70's graduated in 74.
