The whole football world was devastated by his death, but this just shows how much football means to people. All rivalries aside, the whole world mourned this young mans life and that really proves that football is more than just a game. RIP Christian Benitez.

Makes me sad to watch these videos of Christian Benitez and to just get a glimpse of what a smashing little player he was. Having gone to all the games on the unbeaten run that year he was a pleasure to watch, the excitement I would get before a match knowing he was in the line up was great and we felt like we could win against everyone with Chucho His technical ability and speed was something else which other teams could not handle and another year or two he would of played at the top. Keep Right On Little Fella and may your heart beat strong!
