A Tribute from Manohar Iyer to the Maseeha~e~Mohabbat: Mohammed Rafi on his 40th Death Anniversary.
Rafi Sahab was one of a kind, made of a special ' maati ' and mould with 'mohabbat' sans bound and, never the least, blessed with a divine voice! It seems that the Almighty and the All merciful Allah created him out of His own choicest fibre to produce a fecund fabric of a melodious warp and woof!

Manoharji .. I don't think anyone else can pay tribute to Rafi Sahab as you did . I felt I was attending a Keep Alive Program on Rafi Sahab at Shanmukhananda Hall. I was really touched and moved by the way you compered the tribute in chaste Urdu. You enlightened me about the whole life of Rafi Sahab. Thanks you very much.
