A-train (almost) smiling as he realizes that, for the first time in his life, someone is looking up to him as a hero, not because of Vought's media manipulation, but because he's really acting like a hero really warmed my heart.

And besides which, while Vought's "hero" operations are often heavily controlled and clouded in PR (even though it's silly to assume EVERY criminal is a stuntman), the brother didn't seem to be around A-Train all the time or very often, for many reasons (and the Seven's activities, until Edgar's dismissal, was sealed off and tightly run).

When you think about it, a train is literally the strongest speedster shown in live action in terms of lifting strength. (I said Speedsters. Like flash or quicksilver, not characters like superman or black Adam) Edit: yes a flash FTL punch can vaporize kryptonians in many cases, but I was talking about lifting strength. A train is one of the rare speedsters that is freakishly strong without running.

he is the first seven member with actual redemption arc. Maeve was already decent since S1, especially Starlight too.

This is probably A train’a first time saving someone and have it being acknowledged, no acting or cameras

Please, let this man survive. I’d love to see him get to be a hero for more than like 3 episodes

Hands down one of my all time favorite scenes from this season, just those two giving each other that smile goes such a long way! The writers knew exactly what they were doing!

I loved this. Probably the first time someone has looked at him as a hero and not just as a celebrity and you can tell it felt good for A train

I’m very glad that for once he got to know what it’s like to be a hero to someone. That’s something even in the recent Marvel movies fail to have.

Maybe I’m digging too hard but this scene was a breath of fresh air in a show where everything and almost everyone is corrupted to the core. Like a scene from an early marvel movie, a superhero hero saves someone just because he can and it’s the right thing to do and not because of cameras and media, truly f beautiful

We know that in this season a-train had its redemption but perhaps many will already have that assumption that it will perhaps be the last season in which our a-train will run

I’m so happy to see how far A-train’s come since the start of the show, you’d kinda assume that he was supposed to be some sort of big bad considering his connection with Hughie, but really all of that’s in the past now and it’s really given A-train the opportunity to really make up for what he’s done and become a true superhero. Just that small scene of that kid looking over at A-train and him smiling like that is some of the most wholesome subtle character writing that this show has had so far and I’m so happy to see where it’ll go from here.
