The good guys always die in shows, remember that. At least A-Train became a somewhat nice guy to someone he hurt before he died.

I've seen theories that he might die saving someone like Hughie, in contrast to how his brother stated he never has actually saved anyone before, and so far the first person he's actually truly saved ironically has been Hughie. I think it would be a good way for him to go out if they went that route.
