Good tip, I couldn't get the interaction with that arrow so I figured I had no extra pages unlocked. Never tried the swipe!

Really love township tale, glad you did one on it

In the character creator, you use your hand to make a swiping gesture that turns the page of options. And for painting the big brush is for main color, and the small brush is for secondary color. I took way too long to figure that out by myself so I hope it helps! XD Love your vids as always. Hope to see more A Township Tale content!

“I’m getting hungry, and we literally have accomplished nothing!” That’s me on a daily basis.

Tip: If you take a stick and put grass at the top and then put flint on the side you only need one piece of flint to light the torch at the top of your new creation. Also you have to put the meat near the fire not on it or it will burn up. The best way to cook meat is by chest cooking. Chest cooking can be accomplished by going to the tavern and going to the chests upstairs. Fill all the slots, but one with random junk. Take one piece of cooked meat and fill it in the empty slot. Light a campfire in the chest. Then place all your uncooked meat into the chest, not in a slot, just in the chest with the campfire. The meat will then cook and go into the slot with the one piece of cooked meat. This is chest cooking. Also when your done cooking take a knife and cut up the meat into portions. It takes up less of your fullness bars, the cooked one takes 3 IIRC, cutting it up takes 2, which means you can eat more and fill up more. The lock boxes in town hall are your personal storage that only you can access, everywhere else is shared storage.

Character customization is actually quite detailed, the large brush allows main color customization of different parts, and the small brush is the details, secondary, and tertiary colors.

I just play that today and I love it so very much

4:40 the devs are actually working on a housing update, Also, turn the pages in the book and then pull a page out to craft it

you can actually put an eyeball into your character to customize eye color

There are more options for character creation. You just stick your hand in the screen and swipe it to the side. The green arrow is only indicating that there are more options.

OMGGGGG! Dude I first saw ur vids back when u did ur saints and sinners gameplay and you’re so cool, A Township Tale is one of my favourite vr games and I’m so happy to see you playing it! Also I really advise you to watch a lot of tutorials because this game has a huge learning curve and the tutorial doesn’t show you that much

Tip: When your customizing your character and there’s a arrow on the side swipe the board left or right to see the rest of the options it’s not poking the arrows (hope it’s helpful and makes sense ^ -^ )

A couple of thing that I saw that you missed when making your character is that you can just use the big brush to change eyes, think of it this way, the big brush is primary color and the small brush is secondary/details.

I just started playing again after 2 years and I legit have like 5 patches of dry skin because of how dehydrated I was because of my eczema

you can color eye while they're on the character with the big brush

2:32 it’s not that they need more customization, the big and small brush have different uses. The big brush is for the primary colors and the small for the little details like the ropes on belt, the eyes were considered primary so you used the wrong brush.

When chopping trees and using the carpentry table use wide swings, dont just flick your wrist and hope something happens. All the game really cares about is a wide swing.

The 5 bars is your nutrition, the bar under that is your hunger.

On the hair screen when customizing, the green arrow means you use your hand to physically swipe to the second screen. You don’t need to grab, just drag your hand from the right of the board to the left. It’s ambiguous, but that’s how it works.
