Hello! Thanks for showing this features. In real life Kurt Busch and Greg Biffle did not drive the #9 and #60 respectively. Place them in both Roush Racing vehicles so they appear replacing other drivers in career mode.

Are the individual car files for every paint scheme included within the mod because it would really nice to have a reference for the blaise Alexander car because I really want to remake it for iRacing

I was wondering about that. That makes a lot of sense to have them acting as pseudo Busch Series drivers to help out Career Mode a little bit. We can just pretend they raced in Busch a little sooner than we all though they did.

That also explains having Adam Petty in the Busch Series as opposed to Winston Cup. Also, is there any way to break into the NSpeech.Dat files for Gamecube without destroying everything?

Greg Biffle & Kurt Busch were in the Truck Series in 2000. The 60 is really Mark Martin & the 9 is really Jeff Burton. It's possible they were put in those cars to avoid duplicate drivers in season/career mode, which is a cool idea for a retro game.

While I was making the mod. Had a problem with this. There is a Table that identifes all duplicated drivers. This was done to place drivers in multiple cars and prevent duplicates from appearing in the different game modes. I've tried to put more than 5 duplicated drivers and game was crashing all the time. Thats why Matt Kenseth is not driving the #17 on busch series. I think having less duplicated drivers is more fun 🤷🏻‍♂️

​@@sledgeLIX indeed. And it's kind of a coincidence for the Biff, as he had his truck colors on the 60 car in 2001... meanwhile, I hope we have the all voice clips thing ready... Cause, I believe that someone said that the PC edition can have voice changes unlike the console ones where we're left with a lot of the (Thunder 03) Busch Series esque "The (Number) car" voice lines.

Andy Kirby, Casey Atwood and Chad chaffin all raced in the mid to late 90s at Nashville fairgrounds.. Andy Kirby was killed in 2002 in a motorcycle accident

Im pretty sure Mike Borkoski was the driver that got sued by At&T for being bad, I could be wrong about that

Sponsorships jumped ship in 2001: Excedrin went from PPC (57) to Herzog (92) Alltel went from Herzog to Penske (02) Williams went from the 39 to Brewco (27 which was Atwood until he moved to Cup and McMurray took over) Dr. Pepper went from the 50 to the 26 Albertsons went from the 15 to PPC (57)

I actually was able to chat with Jimmie Johnson's spotter on Facebook and showed me a pic he Jimmie won at Chicagoland in the Busch Series.

If i have this i would totally drive including #10 Nesquik, #92 Alltel and #27 Castrol cars.

Like the others have said, I think they put Biffle and K. Busch in Mark and Burton’s Busch Series Rides to avoid the stupid ass duplicate drivers bullshit that you see in other games And I’m sure there is a way to run the Busch Series exclusively in their own division based on the trailer but the only person who would know for sure is the legend SledgeLIX himself

Yes that was early season and it switched over to Aaron's in the fall of that year. Aaron's wanted the number to be 99 and Mikey obliged. So having the Aarons car in the game is a good idea.

@@evanwilliams6406 For what I've seen so far. The modded Thunder 2000 should feature the arca drivers too. Like Frank Kimmel that was seen in Thunder 2003 the only ARCA driver in a NASCAR game, Tim Steele, Bobby Gerhart, Bill Baird, Bob Strait, Shawna Robinson, Bob Schacht, Dill Whittymore, Andy Belmont, and Andy Hillenburg.

that nesquik 10 is one of my favorite schemes of all time fun fact, at bristol a few years ago i had Landon autograph the windshield of my die-cast of that car. i estimate its worth in the hundreds of thousands.

I talked to Jeff Green about the Busch Series back then and he said the Winn Dixie hauler is the last one you wanted to see pull up because you knew you were going to get your ass kicked. From 1992 to 2000 Mark Martin and Winn-Dixie won 39 times in 138 races. Never ran full time either.

They are, you just need to know where your texture replacements in Dolphin are.

I wish you could run all the busch series drivers together at once...

The base game is NASCAR Thunder 2003, so I'm over 99% sure it does not.

No. NT2004 was the first to feature online play, as covered by that game's 'What's New?' reel.

they should fix it so the Busch Series drivers actually race

Game database uses a "Car Type" variable that gives a tier for each car that defines appearing order. So it's possible to make a Full Busch Series grid, but it should be another mod.
