I did my bit for Stoke as an SCC Engineer and I’m very proud of our City...

I miss my home town, been gone way to long- this brought back some memories but lots has changed- especially the roads!

Lived in Stoke last 4 years and it's scary how there's hardly any change in this city.

You started the tour with my old local - The Marquis of Granby. Haven't been back in 15 years. It looks a lot cleaner now. Much greener too. Makes me want to go back for a visit. thanks for posting!!

Thanks for showing this :-) My Grandfather was born in Fegg Hayes in 1915 and to Australia as a lad so it's great to see video of towns that he was in as a boy (although they would have changed heaps)

The Stoke I grew up in is long gone. Possibly not such a bad thing but I no longer feel any attachment to the place and haven't even visited it for years.

I've lived In Stoke-on-Trent for nearly 10 years now, I live in Blythe, so I've never been past Hanley much, so what a great vid to show me the other side =D

Wow, Hanley has changed so much from 2007 to 2014! Houses around Joiner's Square - gone! Car park opposite the old bus station - gone! Botteslow street - completely changed! The whole of Stoke has changed, tbh. But overall, I bet that drive was a bit of dosh - your car must run on water (or forever-lasting diesel). :P

Tescos used to sell Staffordshire oatcakes many years ago. They quite cheap and very tasty when cook with something like ham and cheese.

this vid is typical of how blind and ignorant some people can be of their own surroundings and history. Stoke is a wonderful place full of wonderful people and a history that puts the so called Major cities to shame
