    Loved the video. Downsizing always make you feel better. My only question would be if you do end up getting rid of your grow tent will that mean you would be selling in your shop anymore? Best of luck to you with whatever you end up deciding. I love your content and always have.

    No, the grow tent has to stay, definitely. The humidity, the plant space, your business, and those two monstera albo's growing to the top of the wall! You're the houseplant youtuber with the best facilities.

    You are still one of my favorite KZreadrs. You are hilarious, and as a parent, you understand the real struggle of balancing plant chores with a busy schedule. It’s not easy finding time to care for your plants while managing everything else, especially when the kids sometimes mess up your plants! The struggle is real sometimes! I can relate to you!

    For me personally, I’d start downsizing. Knowing that eventually it has to go, would stress me out too much 😂 Maybe just go slow! Pull some favorites to the home space… downsizing props… etc etc and chip away at it slowly!

    Going along with you in your tour, I’d say you very much enjoy this grow tent and you should keep it. When the time comes to remodel or what not, maybe you can downsize the tent, leave a corner of the basement for it and design with it incorporated. I think it would be fun! PS: I feel the same way about the philo pink princess. 😊

    I’d say since yall have the space in the yard, yall should build a little green house for the summer. You could then either winterize it or just make one of your downstairs rooms a plant room for winter! Or just downsize and do a plant room in general, because you can always add plants back into your space at any point. Even if you add a few back at a time, it’ll help to stay less cluttered that way! ❤

    I have a smaller grow tent which I feel is 100% worth it, some plants just grow so much better in grow tent conditions and it does make higher maintenance plants feel easier. So I’m team down size, don’t get rid of completely.

    The way you fall in love with some of your plants and express some other feelings for others make me melt and giggle and totally relate in terms of my plant care. What I have to say about the grow tent, it is hard to imagine something more important that might want to utilize this space than this little junge island. When you love the plants that you can't grow outside due to the climate you are in, such a tent in simply a necessity!

    I say KEEP the GROW TENT. It's not only a grow tent , but a stress reliever for you. With 3 young children, every mother needs a getaway place now and then, and this is your's. I think you would highly regret getting rid of it. Yes it's big, but it's fantastic. You can do all your planty things in there and relax doing them. For your Sanity and love of plants, KEEP IT. I love my grow tent! I maintain its temperature between 70-85 degrees all winter. It would basically be impossible to keep my entire house this warm, so I use it as a special environment for plants that need extra warmth. It also feels like a little tropical retreat when I step inside it. 😊

    I say get rid of it too! If you’ve been thinking about it for awhile, it’s probably something you will be glad you did! I couldn’t do a grow tent because I don’t like the clutter and plants everywhere. I am someone who has to have things very neat and organized or I get stressed out easily. I have 2 ikea vittsjo shelves and that’s all I allow myself :)

    I agree to not get rid of the grow tent completely, but maybe downsize to a smaller one! It gives you a space to take care of your plants and the right growing conditions for some of them too! Some other people suggested a greenhouse for the summer, that would be a fun idea too! I love watching your videos and seeing what you're up to lately Harli! I have the purple bulbs in a container, hoping they will grow, but bought off Etsy, and it took ages for them to get here, and they were pretty dried out. So we will see. I have to say I love propagating plants as much as you. But had to quit for now, I ran out of room. LOL

  • @ConnieP92
    @ConnieP9225 күн бұрын

    Yep thats exactly how I'm drinking my tea right now while watching you! We are kindred spirits 😆😛 Just thought that when it comes time to remove the tent, what about using it outside near the house so that you can extend the 'patio'?? You could keep it closed during winter and open during summer. Or you can pretend youve gone camping with the boys 🤔😬 Btw that fern that popped up, is it a Kangaroo Fern? Looks like a variegated one...All my Begonia are in semi-hydro and they've survived for a long while and are even thriving. One of them is almost 2m in height indoors and has even bloomed for me. Mind you Sydney doesn't have bitter cold winters and our ambient humidity her always sits at around 65-70% so that helps. Only when I turn the heating on it dips to 45% and only then will I start the humidifier. And OH MY Harli, your Strawberry Ice look amazing. Tbh Ive never liked that variety of Syngonium but I would probs buy one of those if I was closer. Most of them look messy/ugly in my opinion but like you said it gives all the colours it could offer in a nice way, sectoral, is truly cool! And oh I'm into Syngonium in a BIG way....I have about 10 varieties!!! Love em!!! And I agree with you about the PPP , mine has lots of pink blocks and is not 'muddy' like you say so am loving mine....phew! But in the shops most of them for sale DO NOT SPEAK TO ME AT ALL! Your Hoya look gorgeous. And I really hope you find a solution to your grow tent dilemma 🙏🏼
