Awesome! I absolutely love your kitchen! You inspired me to make my own salad dressing and it taste heavenly every time! And we make just enough...now I dont have to look at 1 million bottles of store bought dressing in the fridge going to waste🤪

Yay! I love your kitchen! The matte black hardware gives a sharp looking contrast to the crisp white cabinets. The best part is while your house is designed and professionally organized, it looks very homey and cozy…rather than having a museum (don’t touch anything) quality. 😊 PS I too, find apple slicers unnecessary. Plus, they get rusty. It’s simple enough just to use a little knife. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Another Maryland gal here - totally didn't register the Old Bay until you pointed it out, because *obviously* everyone has it with their spices! 😆

I love the matte black with the white. Years ago I had shiny brass and wanted a change. To see how it would look I spray painted with Rustoleum metallic spray in oiled bronze. I’m amazed how it held up and did not scratch or chip. The original plan was to see how it looked and buy new-never did since they turned out great.

Love your kitchen! Especially the white cabinets ♥️. I had wanted white cabinets but we went with a light wood. My kitchen is painted burgundy, and I love it! Our house is a Victorian and the color fits it perfectly! All appliances are black, including the small appliances and the sink! Counter tops are white so it keeps the black from overpowering everything. I loved the tour of your kitchen, and so glad to hear someone say “I’m not a minimalist!

Our hardware is brushed nickel, it is a bit softer looking than stainless steel! Easier to keep clean, too!

The contact hooks for rubber gloves under the sink was the first tip I used from you. It is a perfect solution for unused space for an ugly, albeit necessary, item. The microwave mat on your Amazon list is also great: cleans easily, prevents spillage, and does a great job. The kitchen looks so chic, and I always appreciate a Clover shot. I enjoy seeing you make this space your home.

I'm a weirdo.... I love any home tour where kitchen cabinets / closets / drawers are opened 🙈. When my friends visit me for the first time, I give them that same experience because I'm just too excited with how I have everything organized 😄! Except for my garage... the garage is my next project, but the mister doesn't want to get rid of anything 😤😕😑.... Rome wasn't built in a day I guess 😒😒😒....

So beautiful. I love a white kitchen, and the matte black looks so sophisticated. I hate gold or brass, just tacky. And a couple of good cooks shouldn’t have to apologize for having a full, well-used kitchen. 😉

I JUST got the dash egg cooker! The alarm isn't terrible, it just doesn't stop until you push the button but my boiled eggs came out perfectly done!

Love your kitchen. I recently got a collapsible dish drainer and laundry basket and adore them. And built can racks for my canned goods. Sprayed my kitchen hardware brushed silver.

The silverware! My husband and I will probably ALWAYS have mismatched silverware. There are two patterns in the drawer, the one he loves and the one I love. His are thin and--to me--pokey-feeling and really light. They're a kind of mid-century vibe. Mine are weighty (he would say heavy), sleek and with a nature look because the handles have a bamboo look...They're solid stainless steel tho. It's a small concession to each other I suppose! 😄

So, I thought I had a lot of kitchen stuff, but you may have me beat. I absolutely love it!❤. At least you use all of it. I have pots and pans that have barely seen the light of day. I have the meat masher also.

You need to make a Clearance Height label for inside that drawer microwave! I have one by Sharp with same restriction but it’s never been an issue.

The kitchen looks great. We have oil-rubbed bronze hardware. It's fine but I'm thinking of switching to matte black and changing the style. We have round knobs, which I guess were the cheapest option when then flipper did the house. I'd just like something different.

I have that same immersion blender / chopper (sadly, no whisk) and I still use it all of the time!

my kitchen needs so much help. my cabinets are short, i need to purge, and i definitely need to add some pull out shelves for deep cabinets.

Your best kitchen yet and i loved your previous one, in your last home. We had a braun food processor since 1985 which we used quite regularly. We were sorry to say goodbye in 2020 when it finally broke. I love the black hardware, looks very smart as well as the organisation. Simply faultless.

Fyi: you have convinced me that Oxo, Simple Human, and the Elfa are worth their price. And now Braun lol. Once it’s time to upgrade certain things i will def check them out first.

I'm glad you made the distinction that you are a professional organizer and not a minimalist. I sometimes forget that when watching your videos and yell out, "Sis, get rid of that!" ... "You have too many of those!!!" LOLOL... Also, I am 100% with you on the black cabinet hardware. I have huge 14 in chrome pulls that i'll be replacing with smaller matte black pulls. "Pantone, I don't care what you say, baby... 2022 and 2023 is the year of Matte Black." Good video as always. BTW, did your "That Girl" aesthetic fridge hold up?

Really enjoyed this, Kay. Had storage envy for a nanosecond before remembering I need far less for my particular needs...especially in my kitchen. And that's only because I've winnowed so much, inspired by you and others. Laughed out loud at your Storrow reference...an annual back-to-school ritual or for the occasional truck driver unfamiliar with the area, who doesn't trust the signs. My version: a basement ceiling so low that I need to stoop and wear a hat to protect my head when I forget. My solution: steadily reducing/eliminating what's down there solely to garden-related stuff so I make far fewer (dreaded trips). So, thanks for the videos, tips and views. Keep 'em coming!

Hi Kay! We changed out the hardware in our flip kitchen from oil rubbed bronze to a soft black iron. It’s got the feel of the matte black but a little more lived in.
