This is a guided tour of Gunkanjima Island, officially known as Hashima and also referred to as Battleship Island. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was famously featured in the 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall. This island is one of the top places to visit in Nagasaki, Japan.

I know you are not into promoting your videos, you’re not into getting a lot of views, etc…BUT, your videos are exceptional and show us places that other vloggers don’t show…I know it’s not my business to tell you what to do with your channel, but it deserves so much more views…keep up the good work.

I found out about it the day before I visited it. I lucked out with the weather and was able to book the tour. It usually gets sold out.

You make the reservation online on their official website and then you pay when you get to the ticket office before boarding the boat.
What happened to all the water in the swimming pool?

The water was left untreated. Over time, without maintenance or proper circulation, it evaporated and became stagnant. Eventually, debris and natural elements accumulated in it. No maintenance at all on the Island since April, 1974. The only thing that is maintained is the walking path for the visitors.
Interesting to listen to the Japanese lady. Have seen Skyfall, where James bond, Daniel Craig, died

The Bond character did not die there. Best you watch Skyfall again.
