Lovely calm unhurried walk through. And great to see Qing in the background, one of my favourite yachts.

I am a big fan of your channels and have followed you for a while. It is great to see David and Tristan do a tour. This is an excellent semi-displacement, aluminum hull that has been treated well, and it has a terrific appeal as a live aboard vessel with an excellent pedigree. You are in good hands with a Heesen. You guys compliment each other terrifically well! Thanks!

Great video David. The yacht itself is so impressive with a unique and beautiful layout. Nicer than some more modern vessels. I agree with other viewers that the reparte between yourself and Tristan was fun but more importantly informative and gave viewers an insiders perspective of the practicalities of the yacht from a "captain's" viewpoint. Would certainly welcome a future collaboration between you. Loved the yacht.

It was great to have Tristan with his expertise. I must admit, I almost didn't watch this video when I saw how long ago this yacht was first launched. I was pleasantly surprised by how well she has been refitted. Normally, older yachts, are dismal with their dark wood paneling everywhere. This one seems as light and airy as any new yacht and has a very impressive layout. I could find nothing to complain about. I also enjoyed the banter. Nothing is more boring than yacht tours where only monotonous music plays. This answered a lot of questions I would ask on a yacht tour. It was also very coherent without constant editing. I find that very annoying. This was natural and much closer to the experience one would have if we were just touring the vessel ourselves.

Wow, I can only agree with previous comments. Great to have a Captain (Tristan) and David together on a walkabout. Your joint knowledge and input were great. More like this please David. I have watched over the years many of Tristan "Superyacht Captain" Bloggs. So to have my 2 fav superyacht bloggers together was a gem. You can hear in Tristans voice and see it in his eyes, he misses being the captain of a superyacht. I really hope he gets back in the Captain's chair soon.

You should do more Collabs, also with Aquaholic, NautiStyles and all with each other. Love u all guys, cause all of you achieve the small grid of informing and entertaining the ones who are willing to buy a vessel or even dream of their whole life! Please all of you keep up your brilliant works besides your jobs! Love from Germany!

David and Tristan, two of my favorite top three KZread yacht channels. Great walk-through and very informative guys. Beautiful refit and beautiful yacht! Almost made it to FLIBS this year, I'm going to give it a hell of a shot next year. Four of the five years I worked for Teakdeckingsystems from Sarasota I tried to get on the list to work the show but they were fully staffed.

That was one of the most informative videos I have watched from either of the two of you. You really should do this again.

Bringing both of you together on a tour brings such breath and depth, Ive never seen such a full look of a yacht. The yacht is amazing, the upgrade makes it look new, a lot of bang for your buck.

Praise to the designers. This ship has beautiful and contemporary lines.

What an awesome walkthrough... so much information... Definitely you guys should do this more often. I can see why sometimes it is so difficult to choose whether to go with function or aesthetics. You want the crew to have a good work flow area, but at the same time the layout gotta look clean and pleasing to the eye. Luv how Tristan explain what he likes or prefers on a bridge. I think my favorite part of the refit is the atrium... looks so spacious... thank you David and Tristan for the awesome walkthrough.

That was an amazing walk around. Always love watching your channel David. I'm a huge fan of super yacht captain Tristan Mortlock. Wow! What a fantastic video. Interesting, informative, great bounce back between the two of you, and without a doubt one of the best presentations of a high grade yacht I have ever seen. I found it really difficult to believe the age of the vessel. A real credit to the original builders. I don’t think that boat has been looked after - it has been loved. Thank you David and Tristan. "Greater than the sum of the parts"... absolutely correct. The best walkthrough I've ever seen! The 'shop talk' between you was great, while not distracting from the presentation of the yacht, on the contrary. Being on a lovely Heesen yacht didn't hurt either 😄 Tristan cleverly avoided saying so directly, but 7 crew on a charter yacht of this size and with 12 passengers simply isn't enough! But a smart owner will use that cabin by the laundry room as engineer's cabin, which would solve part of that problem. This was impressive for a 35 year old boat (refits notwithstanding), well done Heesen! 😊

Glad to see Superyacht Captain mentioning the importance of desk/working areas in the cabins! Even on smaller owner-operated boats I think this is a very overlooked and essential feature. I'm sure may people would rather have a desk area rather than the obligatory 'dressing table'

Love the revision of a beautiful lady. Being a retired corporate and personal chef. Yes, guests love the interaction when the chef is visually involved. It's teppanyaki instead of teriyaki. As I follow both David and Tristan. They both do a top-notch job respectively on their own. What an amazing job each of you did with this video. Lots of information from different points of view. Will there be another collaboration??? Tristan, I agree with you on BD. Living in Lauderdale having friends that are crew members and my partner being a broker. It's been “Hollywood” up.

While I loved the walk through of the actual yacht, you two together made it extremely informative for someone who (at this point) can only dreams about owning a yacht. Thank you both for such a wonderful take on this mighty fine ship! It was like watching Odin and Loki giving a seminar on boating! And David...if you got it flaunt it...never give up on Nauti wiggle!

I've been watching (and hugely enjoying) your channel for some time now, David, and this is the first time I've commented. Fascinating. So much wisdom (and humour) shared by you and Tristran. You really work exceptionally well together. I 100% agree with Tim below as I was thinking exactly the same thing before I had a quick gander at some of the comments.....oh, seems I agree with Martin too and probably many others. Like other comments, this is one of the best walk around videos I’ve seen, a great double act. What I particularly liked was some of the reasoning, for example crew like these engines because they just go on and on, basically a tractor engine. Moreover, it exemplifies why it’s important to have a vessel that works for the crew as much as the owner.

I agree about crew areas. I firmly believe happy crew = happy cruise. Maybe it’s because most of us can’t imagine living this way (on the owner side) that we would care how the crew are treated and housed.

Very cool video. I wasn't able to get on this boat, nor was I able to see either of you there. Sadly, I was there for less than a day and actually went to the hotel before the Denison party because I was starting to get sick, which turned into something pretty serious once I got back home. But glad that you showed this boat off. I saw it sitting there next to Qing and wasn't too far from Dorothea III, Mizu, and At Last. All the cool yachts of KZread.

I like how they always act surprised and amazed by the lay out of these boats when their all about the same depending on size. after you've seen 25 or 50 they all start looking the same. just like wives, there is no deference between 3 and 7. 😄

When I inherit my billions you are my go to yacht broker 😊
