Hey just curious saw your video where you pulled the transmission installed your brand-new converter kind of curious I'm a Mopar guy that didn't look like a Chevrolet transmission or is it an adapter for a Mopar with a Chevy transmission

Yeah, bracket racing is exactly that. Whoever can run closest to their estimated time without going over! It’s alll about consistency and allowing any car to be competitive!

Hey Allison. Dont fret. Those bad,....or off days, are so important. They remind your psyche how not too feel or perform when your preparing for war. Thats that swagger you pops was referring to. Its like going to war. Putting that "gameface" on. Your doing excellent. Your dad is glowing with pride and is taking what your doing very serious. Its pretty touching honestly. Back in mid to late seventies I was either at Norwalk or Drag way 42. Summer Nationals was a yearly thing. The Pro Stock Ford's of Bob Glidden and Dyno Don were flying. Had a good buddy who ran a Maverick with a built Boss motor in it, put it on the bumper all the time. Great video of an awesome venue. Thanks for sharing this. Alison you did what many people have never done before= ran a perfect light, and a perfect dial. It's like winning the Super Bowl the 1st year you play Pro. Ball, it's easy to have this let down after doing something so rare. Im not trying to be a downer, just realistic, you may be perfect again, but it's not very likely. You changed something in your combo= Tq. Converter that def. Changes the way your car reacts. It will just take some more seat time to adjust. Try not to beat your self up about it, you will be fine. Just have fun, and relax, it will come to you just like it did before.

I love the fact that Allison is wanting to get dialed in. She is competitive and a competitive driver makes for a good racer. Tommy you’re my favorite drag racer. That falcon is bad ass and I can’t wait until you get the tuning down. I do think the falcon needs about 300 more horsepower to get back to the winning ways. I always had trouble when I first started Drag Racing..I had the worst time trying to better myself not cutting them loose too early and somehow it always cost me because they breakout..but the more I practiced the better I got..keep trying Allison u got this..👍

All I can say is bracket racing is a lot harder than you think, and some of these guys are really really good at it. I was 18 when I entered my first bracket race and won it! And I thought wow this is pretty easy but all I got was a trophy. When I entered the money winning classes it was not that easy at all. So keep trying and try to have some fun

Allison you will get it figured out. You really don't have that many passes under your belt if you stop and think about it. I think your doing great maybe just trying to hard to cut a good light. Jeff your car is beautiful. I can tell you have bracket raced a long time. The car is running and working great. That was a hard pass to lose on when I heard the numbers on your last pass. Two old bracket and stock eliminator racer notes: Get Allison a practice tree! It made a huge difference on my game spending a whole off season really focusing on getting a low average with minimal red lights. Also, don't beat yourself up about being out of sync when you are getting used to a new converter. Tommy had it right on working with lower rpms to adjust for a more comfortable rollout. Rear tire pressure adjustment can help if it's not in too narrow a window. Front tire pressure can help for very fine tuning adjustment once you are very comfortable. With the 60ft times I would set rollout around .340 but use intuition and feel to adjust from there with what feels in sync with in track experience once you get the launch rpm dialed when running bracket stuff. Second note: your stock buddy was confused about his late afternoon break out run. Been there before. While the DA is fading into the heat of the afternoon you still have to be cognizant of the amount of time between rounds. When you are in the later rounds and the car isn't sitting so long the trans and rear end are higher temp and that will start to cause faster ET. Be prepared for that to sneak up on you if you don't have a transmission temp gauge.

Alison you did what many people have never done before= ran a perfect light, and a perfect dial. It's like winning the Super Bowl the 1st year you play Pro. Ball, it's easy to have this let down after doing something so rare. Im not trying to be a downer, just realistic, you may be perfect again, but it's not very likely. You changed something in your combo= Tq. Converter that def. Changes the way your car reacts. It will just take some more seat time to adjust. Try not to beat your self up about it, you will be fine. Just have fun, and relax, it will come to you just like it did before.
I like the dart a lot,but Jefa fa fa fa's challenger is my dream car...you two are a match made in Heaven..both come from good racing stock,and I can see the love between you two...when is Gen 3 getting here?😂😂😂❤❤❤

I love the fact that Allison is wanting to get dialed in. She is competitive and a competitive driver makes for a good racer. Tommy you’re my favorite drag racer. That falcon is bad ass and I can’t wait until you get the tuning down. I do think the falcon needs about 300 more horsepower to get back to the winning ways. Love you guys and keep putting out the videos I can’t get enough.

I always had trouble when I first started Drag Racing..I had the worst time trying to better myself not cutting them loose too early and somehow it always cost me because they breakout..but the more I practiced the better I got..keep trying Allison u got this..👍
All I can say is bracket racing is a lot harder than you think, and some of these guys are really really good at it. I was 18 when I entered my first bracket race and won it! And I thought wow this is pretty easy but all I got was a trophy. When I entered the money winning classes it was not that easy at all. So keep trying and try to have some fun
Allison you will get it figured out. You really don't have that many passes under your belt if you stop and think about it. I think your doing great maybe just trying to hard to cut a good light. Jeff your car is beautiful. I can tell you have bracket raced a long time. The car is running and working great. That was a hard pass to lose on when I heard the numbers on your last pass. Two old bracket and stock eliminator racer notes: Get Allison a practice tree! It made a huge difference on my game spending a whole off season really focusing on getting a low average with minimal red lights. Also, don't beat yourself up about being out of sync when you are getting used to a new converter. Tommy had it right on working with lower rpms to adjust for a more comfortable rollout. Rear tire pressure adjustment can help if it's not in too narrow a window. Front tire pressure can help for very fine tuning adjustment once you are very comfortable. With the 60ft times I would set rollout around .340 but use intuition and feel to adjust from there with what feels in sync with in track experience once you get the launch rpm dialed when running bracket stuff. Second note: your stock buddy was confused about his late afternoon break out run. Been there before. While the DA is fading into the heat of the afternoon you still have to be cognizant of the amount of time between rounds. When you are in the later rounds and the car isn't sitting so long the trans and rear end are higher temp and that will start to cause faster ET. Be prepared for that to sneak up on you if you don't have a transmission temp gauge.
