'Flags' are useless without context. Colin is loyal beyond measure

Totally agree with you, context is missing from this.
I honestly think reading someone's private journal is a red flag, and Colin's flirting is like a yellow flag...he is flirting, but I don't really see the objectifying part. He is also not leading these women on, he says he is not looking for a wife, he is just being overtly charming, which these women seem to enjoy. He isn't using the flirting to do anything wrong with the women, it is really just him trying to keep a facade, which is the yellow flag part.
