Just in case anyone else is curious like I was, the name A Tergo Lupi means 'Wolves behind'. Comes from 'A fronte praecipitium a tergo lupi' which means 'A precipice in front, wolves behind'. It's equivalent to 'Between a rock and a hard place'. Hoar frost is the kind of feathery frost you can see in the video. Nonetheless, fantastic song. It truly does get better the longer you listen to it!

@@atergolupi NGL, as much as I liked the ending song for Hellblade, I absolutely feel this song would have been ten times better. I did an experiment, watched the ending, and muted it right at the point she looks up at the mountains after dropping the skull, laid this over it. It was perfection.

Just like metal did years ago in my life, ( and still do, of course :p ) bands such as Heilung, Wardruna, and now A Tergo Lupi, bring me something I didn't know I need, but I feel it listening to those songs ! There is something very special and unique, that I can't explain. It gives me shivers, and damn it feels good :D

Well, it has been about a week since I found this song. Listen to this about 5x in a row with a shot of vodka each night and I still hear it play in my head for half the night in a quite room sleeping, ... Still not dreaming I am flying over a snow cover forest as of yet.

@@atergolupi Here in Ireland the Government intend to keep us all locked up for at least another year. The reaction to the pandemic is worse than any disease could ever be. A disease attacks your immune system, the Government attack all of your Human Rights as a response to battle a virus, it's insane. It is hard not to see a dark agenda behind it all, it is the same everywhere. We should all be allowed to question the reality they are forcing upon us all. I used the time locked down to make a few instruments, a Bass Tagelharp, and a Folk fiddle. They turned out well, I used them in my last few tracks. I'm almost finished a four string Tagelharp, I'll put gut strings on this one. Honestly, I have not been feeling very creative musically this past year, so it was good to build instruments for future use. Best wishes to you both. :)

I've been looping this song for the past 3 hours while I game. I feel like a druid in a trance. I absolutely love the sounds of the taglharpa. Words can not say how glad I am to have found you out. I was already a big fan of viking themed neofolk and this feels very unique. Thank you so much for blessing my ears with such beauty !
